Bellino's Italian Restaurant Rockport

When attempting to talk to the restaurant manager about choosing a wine, I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. She kept redirecting and stating “in this price point” you might find something you’ll like. Bottles being $40 & $49. Apparently we weren’t dressed THE PART? Little did she know we lost out on the sale of a $199 bottle of wine because of her simple judgement. We also found the bread to blah and the ceaser salad had zero flavor.
***Note: Those dressed the part were treated with a much different approach.

We were hoping for a more authentic Italian flavor profile. While the food was good, the marinara and pasta sauces didn’t have the fresh tomato taste we were expecting. It just wasn’t quite the style of Italian cuisine we had anticipated.

The food was absolutely amazing I definitely recommend this place to go for Italian food if you are in the mood down here at the coast. Service was great. Make sure you bring your appetite cuz you will leave full.

We were promptly greeted upon arrival and were happy
To be able to get a table for two on a Saturday evening without a reservation. The wine selection is wonderful. Our food was very good and we had plenty left over too. We will definitely be back. You can tell that Bellino’s has great staff and owners that care about their guest’s experience.

Awesome service in a quaint atmospere. Unfortunately our meals were not acceptably prepared. Lasagna was so dry and burnt, no bueno. Ate half, picking out a few good bits. Staff was informed my Salmon ordered medium was served so over cooked it was crisp and inedible. At this point the awesome service ended. The would be manager disappeared and servers acted as if we had a contagious illness. We paid our bill, as we ordered a nice bottle of wine which we did enjoy. Our check totalling approx $140 was paid in full. I've been here twice now and do not like to say I will not return. This may be 1 of perhaps 3-4 less than glowing reviews I've written after publishing approx 1200 others on Google
. It is inexcusable that the manager or staff did not offer a piece of Tiramisu or comp my fish. Poor customer service will take its toll in time. I wish them well in remedies to the kitchen issues.

Amazing little restaurant with fantastic waitstaff! Really appreciated the gluten free options! For the first time ever I was able to order the Special and have it modified to be gluten free! Felt a little underdressed because we stopped in after a day of birding, but we were treated the same as everyone else. Will definitely recommend to others visiting the area.

So glad this restaurant is open on Sunday nights! It's an intimate space, so reservations are highly recommended. We had delicious salads, a lasagna and a ravioli. Everything came out hot and perfectly prepared. Somewhat slow service but after we ordered, dinner came pretty quickly. Love all the young people working here!

Hadnt been in years decided to try. Walked in, witnessed the weirdness immediately processed the managements mindset with human resources and decided to make up a reason to get out of there. Considered myself lucky as to remember why had quit going there. This place is a microcosm of what is wrong with everything. Always leave yourself an out if getting up to the line of scrimmage and realizing you need to audible quickly
