This was the first and last time that I will ever come to this place. I visit my son, that lives in Rockport a few times a year and decided to try this place. The food was below average. The shrimp was extremely small and only a few pieces. The flounder, that I had, was overcooked and the veggies had no taste. My wife and I are from Corpus Christi and live in Ohio. We have family in and around Rockport. We've been eating at CP's for decades. The food has gone down hill since our last visit in May. We are avoiding the place now.
A true survivor of a restaurant here since the mid-1970s. It's comfort to my soul to come back, after my last visit 45 years ago, to find it expanded and better than ever! Try the Blackened Amberjack... And that salad bar is HUGE!
