With the sculpture out front and it being an art gallery we didn't expect to see paintings around the walls in the restaurant. Maybe we missed the gallery section. The food however was fantastic and this is a pokestop for any pokemon go players!

We enjoyed our visit here! Jeff was our waiter and was extremely nice and he had great customer service. We're a family of four and decided to have dinner here. We recently dined at Latitude's with our family, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. My daughter, aged 8, and I decided to share the beef tenderloin tips, which were enjoyable. However, my son, aged 6, opted for the kids' chicken strips but ended up preferring my husband's tomato basil soup. Husband ordered the red snapper with orzo and veggies, which he said the fish was fantastic! Beautiful local art all over and beautiful to look at!

First of all kudos to the chefs who made our memorable dinner. We arrived at opening and seated at the window with great view. Mary J was prompt to take our drink order. We asked to clarify some items on menu. With that we ordered Oyster Gilroy to start, yum.Black Drum was catch of day and we both ordered broiled with a tarragon butter, Orzo and vegetable medley. I chose corn chowder and husband a salad. Everything we ate was superb. The art that is all around you is great. A wonderful, romantic last night in Rockport TX. See you next year.

Very attractive restaurant with lively bar scene. However, the food and service are mediocre. Menu has not changed in 10 years and the fresh fish special is always black drum. This place could be so much better.

This is by far, one of the best restaurants in Rockport! We have been in the area for 4 months and have been really struggling to find anywhere to go that has a nicer ambiance, with great food. We finally found it! The staff is incredible and super friendly which has also been a challenge to find. The restaurant is in the art gallery and because of it being Valentine's Day we had to be seated in the bar, but don't let that fool you! It was a great time and our friends actually said, next time they'd prefer to sit there again! Our waitress was Mary and she was incredible! A lot of people are unaware that most seafood is now farmed and it shouldn't even be sold for human consumption once you see how their raised, let along the large amounts of continuous antibiotics, growth steroids and in some cases now...good old killer vaccines are added in the mix. Most seafood is fed dog food to keep costs down. This information has been thoroughly shared by many many a fishermen, here and in Mexico. Anyways, Mary was extremely knowledgeable in this area and steered us to the wild caught seafood which was highly appreciated. All drinks were as ordered and top shelf! Try their old fashions...they make a great one, as well as a refreshing palomino. They have a pretty decent wine menu also. Since shrimping season is closed and Rockport mostly serves farmed anyways, we swayed to the wild oysters (baked and in season) and they were amazing! Lobster Thermidor was my pick and it was so delicious and cooked perfectly. The others had everything from fish to pasta and no one could stop raving about how good everything was. Prices are NOT high and extremely reasonable considering that they actually have a chef that knows how to cook! If you're looking to eat for 10.00 or less, then this isn't the place for you. You'll have to hit a McDonalds or a fast fry place . We'll be heading back there very soon and bringing as many friends as possible with us who appreciate a real great dining experience with top quality food and service!

Food was great but our server wasn’t on her a gameVery soft spoken, could hardly hear her voiceNever informed us their specialty entrees for the day. Had we known of them we would’ve ordered from those item’s versus what was on the menu. We overheard the other waitress informing her table. We we’re very disappointed that our waitress never gave us option to know about themOther waitress offered her table bread where we had to ask for ours.During our meal she didn’t come check on us till we were almost done. Good thing we didn’t need anything and lastly didn’t ask us if we wanted dessert, we had to ask about the dessert options.Ambiance and food excellent but this waitress hopefully will get coached from this review

Superb food and exceptional service! We chose latitude 2802 to celebrate my brother-in-law and sister-in-law‘s 50th wedding anniversary because we wanted to treat them to a special evening. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant let alone tiny little Rockport. The crab meat appetizer was exquisite and so were the shrimp rolls, which had a really interesting sauce with them. Several of our party had the beef tenderloin tips, which were really really good, and I had the pan fried flounder which was out of this world. We brought in our own centerpiece and cake, and the staff was very accommodating in serving the cake and helping us package up the leftovers. Highly recommend this place for a fabulous meal. We can’t wait to go back.

This attractive venue is decorated throughout with artwork from local artists, it's a good reason to go just to see it.I gave the food 3 stars based on my order, the steak bites were very chewy, definitely wish I had ordered a different entree. The other's entree's in our party looked much better and got good comments.Service is very good, food was brought out promptly. This is definitely the highest priced restaurant we've tried in the area, but the venue, service, atmosphere do add some value.I will recommend it, keeping in my the added items which I mentioned.

Interesting venue,as it is an art gallery,a bar and restaurant.I popped in for a quick drink but did sample some local oysters which were very tasty.Large groups can be accommodated but I'm not sure if children are allowed. There is a separate dining room,so one would assume kids would be okay.Very tidy and neat establishment with pleasant and attentive staff.
