We were passing through and decided to look for places with high Yelp ratings, and Mi Jacalito had positive reviews so we tried it out--and I'm so glad we did! Such amazing Mexican food! I had the Chilaquiles at the recommendation of the server, and they were made with fresh chips made in store with a mild ranchero sauce (I could've asked for spicier but kept it mild) with an option for toppings. Stumbled on this hidden gem just east of Roma (was trying to follow the Yelp directions for Tacos Alex, which appears to now be Mi Jacalito). When we sat down, they placed some fresh homemade tortilla chips along with a red and a green salsas. Very delish! Shout out to the Chef and our waitress! The have a small menu, which I appreciated. I ate with my Partners and let me say the visual of the food was good! I wanted to eat everyone's plate . It was our first time here and I haven't tasted a lot of there dishes, which is why I'm rating it a four star!
