Seven Seeds Texas BBQ was our business of choice to serve a Thanksgiving lunch for the teachers and staff at McNair Junior High. All the teachers and staff thoroughly enjoyed it! We had smoke turkey and ham, brisket dirty rice, mac and cheese and green beans. I got a small taste of the leftover and it was yummy! We look forward to ordering from Seven Seeds again!

Their food is absolutely to die for, I love their rice bowls, cheese burgers and brisket and amazing, oh and the ribs and collard greens and Mac and cheese ... I highly recommend checking them out! And the owner is one of the most amazing men I have even met and of course with amazing men there is always a amazing woman. This family is worth meeting.

An AMAZING Barbecue Experience... Seven Seeds Sets the Standard
I may live in Los Angeles, but my heart — and my taste buds — belong to Seven Seeds BBQ in Texas. Every visit to see my sister in Pearland comes with one non-negotiable request: we have to go to Seven Seeds for the smoked brisket. Tender and flavorful, their brisket doesn’t just melt in your mouth, it redefines what great barbecue should be.
I am so obsessed that when my sister travels to LA, I insist she bring a couple of pounds with her. With our dad being sick, she’s flown out at least six times this year, each trip accompanied by my standing brisket order. And trust me, not a single bite ever goes to waste. The problem is I like to share my experience with others, so I usually only get two or three helpings for myself per order.
Earlier this year, I was at a workshop in Memphis with about ten people from my church. We had lunch at a well-known barbecue restaurant, and everyone raved about how good the food was. I had to be honest with them: this doesn’t even come close to Seven Seeds in Houston. I promised to prove it and I did. The next time my sister came to LA, I bought enough brisket for everyone to try a half-pound sample. Several of them immediately asked for more, and when my sister returned, I gladly placed their orders and everyone was pleased.
And while the brisket is my main addiction, it’s far from the only standout. The ribs are extraordinary as well – meaty, smoky, and packed with deep, soulful flavor. That signature smoke is what sets Seven Seeds apart from every other barbecue spot I’ve tried. It doesn’t just season the meat — it transforms it.
On my last visit in October, I heard they added a new menu item. Oxtails! Of course I had to purchase some along with my ribs and brisket. Right now, they’re tucked away in my freezer, waiting for their grand debut at Thanksgiving. If they’re anything like the brisket and ribs, I already know they’ll be unforgettable. A funny thing happened going through security. We got flagged and they looked in my bag with the food. One of them said oxtails and they jokingly threatened to take them. In my mind I’m thinking surely I can’t cut up in an airport over oxtails and brisket but had they taken them it would have been an epic disappointment. I may have had to cut up a little. Glad they were joking.
Seven Seeds BBQ isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a more than worthy experience. Carlos and his crew came through with providing a wonderful Thanksgiving luncheon for our fabulous faculty and staff at RMJH! Highly recommend the Thanksgiving meal package for a fall off the bone juicy Smoked Turkey with a cajun twist and glazed pineapple shredded pork!

Experience from food trailer at a local school. Prices/lb for sausage was outrageous compared to their local place. Paid $28/lb for beef and the same for pork/jalepeno. Beef was the driest anywhere I've ever had. Should call it jerky. Pork was moderately better. Local brick mortar showed a $24/lb beef and $21/lb pork pricing. I get hauling a trailer but if you're jacking the prices up that much, you sure as heck better deliver on quality. I asked them to not cut the sausages since I was taking them home and they handed to me wrapped in foil, didn't look and sure enough, they're sliced already. Don't waste your money or your time if you see them in the trailer. HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT

We came around 3 p.m., just as they were getting ready to leave for a catering job. When the owner noticed our disappointment, he kindly offered to stay and serve us. We ordered everything we wanted: briskets, ribs, boudin sausage links, a loaded baked potato, collard greens, and mac & cheese. They stayed about 15 more minutes just to prepare our food. Everything was absolutely delicious—especially the ribs and boudin links—and their friendly service really stood out. We truly appreciated their kindness and the great food. Highly recommended!

I love the Ribs & Brisket my fiancé always gets the $20 Burger or the Loaded baked potato! The Brisket Boudin Balls are to die for! I’ve also had the Brisket Bowl & all the sides are made to perfection! 10/10 bbq best intown hands down !

The Brisket Boudin is so delicious! I love the brisket, the ribs are amazing and if you haven't had the smoked turkey, you have to try it. And there is no better potato salad anywhere in the world. Best BBQ place ever!

7 Seeds BBQ is SO good! The brisket was tender and full of flavor, ribs fell right off the bone, and the sausage was perfect. You can tell they really care about what they do, everything tastes fresh and homemade. The portions are big, prices are fair, and everyone was super friendly. If you’re in the Houston area and love good BBQ, definitely check them out. They catered a large event for our organization and everyone was so happy and satisfied. We will be back for sure!!! Oh P.S. - if you don’t try a boudin ball you are so missing out! They are the best i’ve had!
