My mother had a heart attack—she went to SMCW and received exceptional care. Thank you to all the ER, CDU and 3rd floor nurses and staff who attended my mom!
Went the ER on 2-9, it was extremely busy. Took almost 8 hours to get into a bed. Once in a bed I was stationed in the hallway until midnight 2-10, then sent up to a room on 5th floor. I was released before lunch on the 11th.
While the stay was not the best under the circumstances, the staff was extremely apologetic about the situation. Hats off to the whole crew, from the admin/check in, to the nurses, aids, techs, and Dr’s.

My husband and I welcomed our fourth baby with the Ascension Williamson team. Our nurse, Lamece, was incredible and I can’t thank her enough! She was informative and diligent. I never questioned if I was in good hands with her. She made me feel so strong and empowered! Dr. Brown delivered our baby girl. He has amazing bedside manner and was very nice! While the nurses are praised, some suggest the cafe could be more family-friendly by providing simple accommodations for those staying with loved ones in the ICU.
