The Louisiana LongHorn Cafe was pretty good. I had the crawfish basket with fries, it could have been a bit more flavorful but overall good. Tried the fried jalapeño and fried onions which were okay. The red beans and rice seemed suprisingly bland. However, the food servings are really large! The location is in the downtown area of Roundrock, TX so very quaint. The inside of the restaurant is full of quirky decor very suitable for the atmosphere. Seems great for group settings....
Overall a pretty good place to try some authentic cooking. Good atmosphere and feels truly authentic. Food is a bit expensive and service could have been slightly better. We had to wait a while at the front for around 5 minutes to get seated when there was nobody there as it was earlier in the day. Waitress was very friendly though once we did get seated. Overall a pretty good place to try some authentic cooking.
We had an amazing time here with an abundance of delicious food that was easily shareable. Highly recommend the fried oysters and blackened flounder! We had a lovely server: Laurie. She was very kind and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend this place for anybody looking for a great bites in downtown round rock!!
