Poindexter Confections absolutely nailed it for my birthday event! The chocolate chip toffee cookies were phenomenal—soft, chewy, and full of flavor. Her cookie jars were a fun and delicious touch, and the custom-made sugar cookies were not only beautiful and exactly what I wanted but tasted amazing too. You can tell everything is baked fresh with care. Poindexter Confections is super professional, prompt, high quality and her prices are very reasonable. Let me just start by saying I couldn’t believe what I just ate!!! It was the BEST pudding I have ever had!!! Candace is amazing and clearly pours love into her creations. This strawberry crumble is perfection ?? I’m just saying, if you haven’t had it, you better get you some!!!! Thank you Candace!!!

I recently placed an order for a custom Mexican Vanilla cake with a delightful strawberry filling from this baker. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of my expectations.Firstly, the cake's appearance was not what I had envisioned. While I requested the custom cake without any tilt, it arrived slightly lopsided, which was rather disappointing. The baker attributed this to the heat, but I couldn't help but feel that better precautions should have been taken to ensure the cake's presentation was spot-on.Moving on to the taste, I was excited to savor the unique Mexican Vanilla flavor complemented by the luscious strawberry filling. However, the reality was far from enjoyable. The cake lacked the distinctive taste of Mexican Vanilla that I had experienced before. It also felt dry, and the strawberry filling failed to add the burst of flavor I had hoped for. The combination simply didn't work as well as I anticipated, leaving my taste buds unsatisfied.Given the underwhelming taste and the presentation issues, I couldn't help but wonder if the price was justified.Edit*******Just to clarify some of the things posted as a replyThere was tilt when you handed over the cake. We did not have an outdoor party and kept the cake in Fridge and removed it only before the celebration. I also did not receive any discount/refund. Thank you.
