My wife and I have wanted to visit and finally just did and damn glad we did. Sat on a nice patio with breeze and nice sky and sunset views around a massive oak tree. Reuben, the manager took care of us extremely well. We chose a couple different glasses that he gave great views on and was right on the money. The white truffle popcorn with butter, Parm and parsley was great but Danielle's pizza was awesome. Chatted with Ruben once done and he made us want to become regulars here. Met owners Danielle and Jeff, and complimented both on the food. Looking forward to our next visit for the Good Stock dinner with wines event. This place is a local gem and so glad we finally "discovered" it!!!!

This is our absolute favorite wine bar! The wine is fantastic, the food is amazing, and the service is top notch! We feel like family every time we go in. Plus, they have a dog run which is so cool, we can bring our dog, sit on the patio, and just enjoy a nice day. They were even very accommodating for my birthday when we needed a place to seat 20+ people. This is a spot we recommend to everyone and want to take all of our out of town visitors when they come.

I was severely disappointed with this place. I paid 20 for a reservation for the vday event. 160 (minus 30 for a missing meal) for the meh food that was small portions, and then ofc tip. When we got there they told us to seat ourselves. They were obviously understaffed with only 2 people manning the entire place. Our food and drinks were delivered at different times with 20 min in between or not at all. Overall a very unprofessional bad experience especially for the price. I will not be going again. I also dont recommend at all. We ended up going to another restaurant because we were still hungry and disappointed. Also the reservation didn't mention anything about a menu change and there were no prices. Horrible.

I attended their "sweetheart dinner" event for Valentine's Day. I will not recommend this event to anyone in the future. Wine Sensation should NOT even attempt to do another event such as this again. They are not equipped to manage more than 3-4 tables.You are required to make a $50 deposit to reserve the table. At the time the deposit is made, they inform you that your deposit will be deducted from your bill; however, they do not honor this agreement at the end of the meal. The bill was well over $250 for sub par service, decent food and an atmosphere lacking any hint of romance. If the $50 had been deducted and the servers would have at least attempted to provide some level of customer service...or at a minimum, wear some semblance of a uniform... I would not have felt as if they were intentionally fleecing their customers. They should really reach out to everyone that attended the dinner and offer them a $50 gift card or refund their deposit because they failed to deduct their deposit from the meal. I simply paid for my meal and left but the two tables that left before me were upset and complained about being over charged and having poor service... I know they will not be back. I would return for a drink but would never consider going for an event unless there was some attempt to make this right.

We were visiting from Houston and gave this place a try. The wine and food were good, however the service was lacking. Our server, I believe his name was Ruben was unfriendly and in attentive. Took forever for the bacon wrapped dates to come out, but they comped them which we appreciated . Also, took forever to get the check had to ask for it. The other folks there weee friendly. Ruben not so much.

This is my favorite wine bar! I visit every time I'm in Austin. It's a quick drive to Round Rock. The staff and owners and are kind, friendly, and warm. The FOOD! My favorite is the dates. A new item has been added. Chicken Barrels! Soooo yummy!I will continue to visit this wine bar. It's reasonably priced and high-quality food. Everything is fresh. They have taken great care to create a menu that can please any palate.I'm not a wine drinker, but the owner has provided some excellent recommendations and I am well on my way to becoming one:).GO TO THIS WINE BAR! I rarely stop here, but I HAD to treat myself. When I walked in the owner greeted me!! I felt soooo special. When I got the food it was IMACULATE!! Not to mention the decoration they put their BLOOD SWEAT AND TEIRS INTO THE DECOR. I recommend the cheese plate and the butcher pizza. In total I’m giving this place 5 STARS.Thanks for the best night EVER wine sensation.

This place has been on my list for a while and I was finally able to make a visit. Please be advised, the parking lot is small. If you are unable to get a spot in the lot, I am sure there's parking on the residential street. The inside is also fairly small but there's an outdoor patio with more seating. I kind of expected different from this place but thats not to say I didn't enjoy. While I love drinking wine, I wouldn't say I'm a pro wine drinker so having recommendations from the bartender was a plus. I decided on the flight with four wines on the "sweeter" side. Each are 2oz pours and the price is based on the kind of wine. Depending on the kind of the chosen, a flight is around $16. They have a food menu that includes cheeses, salads, pizzas and others but since I wasn't hungry, I didn't order anything. They also have a Wine Club that offers a variety of perks from discounts to free tastings. I'd like to revisit to see how the food as well as considering joining the club. This should probably be something mentioned while there. I am only aware of the club from visiting their website.

My husband and I visited Wine Sensation last night for the first time. We absolutely loved it! They had a great wine selection and the food was excellent! We sat at the bar and got to chat with the amazing staff and some of the regulars. After last night, I want to become a regular here too! Wine club, here we come! 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a place with good wine, good people, and you want to go to a place where everybody knows your name. Cheers!
