While visiting our daughter in Georgetown, we went to Brasas Peruanas. This place is for real. My wife had a delicious sopa de pollo with enough chicken to fill you up and a side of tasty empanada. My daughter and I had the 1/4 chicken. The chicken was absolutely to die for, moist and well seasoned. Brasas Peruanas came highly recommended by a friend and we loved what we ordered. We started with the Papa a la Huancaina and then for dinner we ate the Tallarines a la Huancaina with the Chicken Saltado and the Lomo Saltado. I liked the cheese sauce on the pasta! I also tried the Maracuya Sour and she is a strong drink. ;) I can't wait to come back to try several other items on their menu.

I went there by myself to get something quick to eat. I really enjoyed it. Good food, good wine, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I look forward to going back there again with friends.
