Closed for good unfortunately! Got here today and found a sign on the door that they are no longer here.

I really, really, REALLY want to give a great review for this place. But alas,,,, the horrible service just can't make up for the wonderful food. We have been several times and each time it seems the service gets worse and worse and now, unfortunately, it's unlikely we will return. Maybe because they are open limited days of the week they can keep good servers - or maybe that the restaurant does not have a POS system. Every single time our handwritten check total has been incorrect. There is no itemized dollar amount - just a total. The first couple of times, we just got a check shock - but paid without comment. The next couple of times we asked for a menu and added up our check total ourselves. Inevitably the server made huge mistakes (in the restaurant's favor). When you try and explain the problem, the server was clueless how to deal with the situation. The same server was unable to provide separate tickets for our table. Three couples. She explained she could only do one ticket or 2 tickets with 3 people on each. What the what? When we told her to pretend each couple were at separate tables (and not sitting at one table) - she ALMOST understood but mumbled something about how she would not have three tables sat in her section that quickly. But the food is amazing!!!! Maybe only get it To Go - but I'm still now sure the total cost would be correct.

We have tried this place several times and every time it seems like a new reason to not come back. They are severely understaffed and the staff they do have can't handle the pressure. The last time we were there it was an almost 2.5 hour dinner because they forgot about our food after one of two appetizers got delivered. The food is actually rather phenomenal when they actually remember to put in your order but after how the owner talked to, or rather belittled, my dad I'll never come back.

Not worth coming here again, we crossed it off of our list. Don't let the nice decor trick you, our waiter actually forgot to put our order in. We have no words for how bad this service was. I could see this place on Gordon Ramsey's disaster restaurants show lol

Cute place. We walked in and we're not greeted for several minutes, even after the lady in front of us tried to get someone's attention it still took them several minutes to come over. The people in front of us left and we wish we would have left too. Went to bar to order a drink while we waited for table. The bartender was sweet and the lemon martini was good as well as the mule, but it took 20 minutes for her to bring our drinks over to the table. The Caesar salad dressing tasted like mayo:/ We didn't get any water refills and were soooo thirsty! I think they forgot out our appetizer and we had to keep asking where it was and it only came with 4 pieces of bread (one for each of us) so would be nice to have more bread! We got there well before closing and didn't officially get our food until after closing time! The lasagna was cold. I did like my chicken rigatoni but they do go heavy with the cheese. Our waiter was young and didn't really care but the other young kid was so sweet and was the only one working it felt like! What's funny is the hostess mom came in and got her food and left before we could get any help so that's interesting. Just really sad how bad the service was bc this place has potential and used to be so much better. Not sure what happened but hope they can figure it out! Thankfully we were with good company, but sadly will not ever return.

I had driven by this restaurant a dozen times thinking it looked like a neat place so one evening I had tome to kill so I stopped in. The place had a great vibe when you walk in. There were a few people already dining but it wasn't crowded. I stopped at the hostess area but no one was there to greet me. Stood there for about 2 or 3 minutes waiting to be seated. Finally a young girl came up to me and before she seated me she ran through a list of about 10 items they were out of. Not off to a great start but luckily I wasn't interested in any of those items as I had already reviewed the menu online before going in so I knew what I was going to order. Otherwise I probably would have turned around and walked out. They sat me and my waiter was a young gentleman probably still in high school. Looking around it appeared all of the wait staff was young.....very young. I read a bunch of reviews that the seafood fondue was "to die for" so I ordered it. After what seemed like about 20 minutes my waiter took my meal order. Then the really long wait happened. I was half wondering if my appetizer was going to come out with my meal. Finally the seafood fondue came. It was ok but certainly not to die for! Then my meal came. It was better. I ordered the Salmon and I can't complain. I did have to ask for my tea to be refilled three times even though I placed the empty glass at the edge of the table in plain sight. I think they made a calculated mistake hiring young kids as wait staff. I also had to flag down my waiter to get a to go container and my check. I think this place could be great if they picked up their wait staffing game!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY or even bother to order or go to this place. Upon reading the reviews we opted to order takeout instead of dining in because the poor reviews were based on service & not food however turns out their standard of service upon ordering out is just as poor. The lady taking our order over the phone was pleasant enough however she knew nothing about the menu, not even the basics. Which kind of pasta comes with the chicken parmigiana.. I don’t know? What kind of sauce comes with the parmigiana.. I don’t know I think an Alfredo. At this point being slightly annoyed I asked if I can get some solid answers rather than I don’t know or someone who knows the menu. She then was able to clarify menu items and place the order however when I asked to add a side salad with a house vinaigrette and asked what kind of vinaigrette it was she once again couldn’t answer my question. A man then picks up the phone almost screaming at me what kind of dressing I want ans j told him the house vinaigrette but I would like to know what Kind it is, is it balsamic, white Wine , red wine what? Simple questions to be asking of a restaurant when you’re making an order. He then hung up on me. I am a restaurant owner myself and I am appalled at the lack of standard of service, downright disgusting. Will never recommend nor step foot in this establishment. You want To call yourself Italian? That’s a disgrace to Italians me being Italian myself because your hospitality is downright rude , uninviting and unapologetic. I want to put my money that the people that run this establishment are Albanian & not Italian. Shameful

The place looked super cute from the outside. The decor is outstanding. When we walked inside, it was quite cool in the bar, so we asked for a table. The hostess greeted us with a long list of items not available (pizza, salad, etc.). The drink menu had specialty cocktails, wine and beer. Some of the wines were listed at $128 - not clarifying if that was a glass of bottle. Three beers were listed as on tap. When the waiter took our order, we learned they have NO beers in tap. Bottled beers included what one could get at your local gas station. My martini was delicious. When the check came, it was just the total written on a scrap piece of paper. Just weird.

We have been going to Deno's restaurants since my daughters were babies.. now they're college bound. Being a former New Yorker and a Italian food snob, Deno's food is second to none in Dallas for taste, quality, and service. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave stuffed but happy, Deno's is the best.

Hidden Rowlett gem! The customer service is excellent. Attentive, courteous, knowledgeable of their menu, and they make you feel at home. Food is freshly made. Excellent portions for the price and the taste is amazing. Garlic knot bread is addictive. Their Moscow mule was on point. Would recommend. The old fashioned was good, but a little too much ice. Other than that, drinks were quite tasty. Very calm, down to earth yet classy look to the restaurant. Their choice of Christmas music and decor were perfect. We arrived by 5:45 and it wasn't bit crowded, but by the time we left many more arrived. The gentleman who is either the owner or manager is extremely pleasant. He treats the customers like family, but what was even better to witness is the way he treats his staff the same way.

Was here on Friday night with two small children. Looked like they were understaffed. Waited a bit to get seated. Initially we saw a waitress and the owner. It took 36 mins just to get a drink so we left. Also, there were guests that arrived later that already had food. 35-40 mins with nobody asking any order. The food does look really good if u can get it.

I have heard a lot of great things about this restaurant so I was excited to finally try it this evening. I called ahead of time since it was a Saturday evening to inquire about a wait. They said there's no wait and to come on in. Upon arrival we waited over 5 minutes after making eye contact with both of the servers who continued to not address us. Finally, one of the men approached us saying it would be a five minute wait to be seated. There were several tables available to our right as well as half of the tables in the main area of the restaurant being open and clean as well. After 7 more minutes of waiting and watching one of the servers spending the past 3 minutes casually taking with a table that had already been seated and served I left. This is completely unacceptable. If you go I hope the same does not happen to you and that you get to enjoy the food I've been hearing about for the past year.
