Chef Chen has poor customer service. They don’t take the time needed with customers to get food ordered. They need more folks available to take an order correctly. They will deliver you the wrong order and it will take about 2 to 3 hours for them to deliver the appropriate order. They are only about sell, sell, sell rather than they take the time to order correctly. I really dreaded leaving them this review, but they have gotten my order so many times wrong.
I'm going to give Chef Chen's restaurant 4 stars because most of the take out dishes we got, were good. Not outstanding, but tasty. However, the Orange Chicken was inedible, The breading and flavor was good but the chicken could not be chewed up Not one piece was edible. When you think Chinese you expect tender.The combination Lo Mein included some sea scallops along with the other meats. I’ve been a regular here for quite sometime, five years, and I absolutely love their orange chicken, lo mein noodles, wonton soup and egg rolls. They know my name and usually ask “the usual”? I love that - and two times now I’ve gone just for a big bowl of wonton soup and they told me it’s on them this time. It truly feels like a home atmosphere!
