Lakewood Cafe is a great place to eat breakfast at. I was seated right away. Everyone was so kind. Muck gave excellent service. He was sure to check to see if I needed anything. I ordered the French toast combo and it was delicious.
Food was awesome. Everything we ordered tasted yummy!
Food is good but the French toast on the alacarte menu was so tiny, looked like for a child. I was expecting it to be bigger, it was like 3x3". We got it to go, otherwise I would have said something if I was dining in.

Lakewood Cafe is a wonderful restaurant that serves good food quickly. The friendly and attentive staff provide excellent service, making guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in. The restaurant can seem busy and is rather small, but guests are seated quickly. The menu offers a variety of options and many choices, including wraps, bowls, omelets, and pancakes, all of which are done well and taste great, with highlights like the Meat Lover's Skillet, Hamburger Steak with Hashbrowns and Grits, Gyro Omelet, and Stuffed French Toast. The fantastic Pecan Belgium waffles, fluffy scrambled eggs, and soft tasty cinnamon French toast are also delicious. Lakewood Cafe accommodates dietary restrictions, using minimal salt and offering substitutions like grits. The cafe is very clean, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting, making it a great spot for breakfast or a casual meal, especially for families. With a few parking spaces available in front, Lakewood Cafe is a place guests will want to return to again and again.
