“First time! It was delightful, the atmosphere is inviting and a wonderful respite from the heat after shopping! The food, where do I start! I started out with the Tzatziki with Pita bread, then the succulent shrimp scampi, I would definitely recommend this duo it was heaven to my palate! To finish off I had to try dessert, I had the Apple empanada & dulce de leche ice cream, it was luxurious and delectable, I savored every bite! And that was thanks to Mousafa’s description, he’s an excellent waiter, he knew the menu well, very impressive! Very attentive, friendly demeanor, with a wonderful attitude! I’ll be back! It’s now #1 on my list! You will not be disappointed! This from a very satisfied customer.“

“Visiting from out of town, I was hot, tired and hangry when I stumbled upon Maya’s. What an oasis!“

“We had hummus and pita bread as an appetizer. The pita was hot, freshly made, and the hummus was delicious! We had a grilled sirloin steak, veggies and rice, and grilled lamb chops with veggies and rice. The veggies were steamed and fresh. The rice had a wonderful flavor to it. We will certainly be back, and highly recommend it. The atmosphere was great, as it is a converted two story house. Our room was simply decorated with pictures and well designed color scheme.“

The moment I walked in, the woman (Sandy) at the front greeted me so warmly. Her positive and kind energy really stood out and genuinely lifted my mood. “Food is amazing but wait time is usually long and also.they are not consistent with their portion sizes - sometimes the hummus box is full and other times it is only half full; sometimes they remember to hive the pita that is supposed to co.e with the hummus and other rimes we have to ask them and they will give some stale bread :(
But the taste of hummus is definitely worth going back again and again. I hope the service can improve a little so people can enjoy the overall experience of the restaurant!“

“I learned about this place from an r/plano thread where someone commented that the chicken kebab are really tender. My son is a very picky eater and we wanted to expose him to a different type of cuisine. Fortunately it worked, he ate both the chicken drumsticks from the buffet as well as the made-to-order kebabs. I tried a bite of the chicken kebab and agree that it was quite tender. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. We hope to visit again when we are in the area.“

I ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes for my sons and they had such a kick out of it, but the pancakes were very delicious! I ordered a caramel latte with the chicken skillet bowl. I knew I wanted an absolutely perfect kebob, this place came up and had amazing reviews. Lemme tell you- they’re all true, this place is amazing.
We had tea, hummus, bolani, and the chapli kebob, my husband and I shared. We took half home, and I am so excited to have it again later. The chapli comes with two perfectly seasoned beef patties, salad, and rice that I actually adored (I usually don’t like rice). So good, I wish them all the prosperity, we will be back!!
