“Review of Chepa’s Mexican Grill
Walking into Chepa’s Mexican Grill, I was ready for a good meal and some quiet time with my book. The restaurant had the typical vibrant decor you’d expect from a Mexican spot—warm colors, rustic accents, and a lively atmosphere. The menu seemed extensive, offering everything from seafood dishes to enchiladas, making it a solid choice for a variety of cravings.
However, my experience with the hostesses was less than welcoming. They initially tried to seat me at a small two-seater by the bar, which felt cramped and not ideal for enjoying a meal and reading. When I asked for a different table, they seemed hesitant but eventually cleaned one off. It wasn’t the best first impression, but I was willing to move past it.
Thankfully, my server more than made up for it. They were incredibly attentive, checking in at just the right moments and ensuring I had everything I needed. Their friendly attitude and great service really elevated the experience.
For appetizers, I went with the stuffed jalapeños. These things were massive—stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in crispy bacon, and full of flavor. But one of them? It had me questioning my life choices. The heat was intense, almost tear-inducing, but if you like spicy food, you’ll appreciate the kick.
The highlight of the meal was the tortilla soup. It was everything you want in a comforting bowl—rich, flavorful broth, big chunks of tender chicken, melted cheese, and crispy tortilla strips. It had that perfect balance of heartiness and warmth that makes tortilla soup such a classic.
Despite the rocky start, the food itself was solid, and the menu has enough variety to make me want to come back and explore more. Hopefully, next time, the seating situation will be smoother, but with great service and delicious food, I’d say it was worth the visit.“

“The service was great thanks to, who I assume to be the manager in a green shirt (Nametag I believe said Cherrie.) A mistake had been made and Cherrie fixed it and moved my family and I to a new table, offering to pay for our meal. The service here has always been great with food just the same, and I wouldn't expect any less.“

“Exceptional service by waitress Karen H. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the "Never Ending Pasta Bowl" and unlimited salad. Both the pasta was delicious and our salad was crisp and fresh. Olive Garden's brand new location in Garland TX! We'll be back. ?

“My wife and I wanted to go out to eat on our wedding anniversary and I picked olive garden since the last time we were there it was great. I really do not eat out much I hate to pay so much more when I can make it better at home. Mike the lunch manager was great, the food was really good! The eggplant parmigiana was very good. I have tried to make it at home but it was always ok . My hats off to everybody there, you all did great!“

“One of the best Pho outside of Garland. You can taste the time it took to make the broth.
The garlic noodles with shaken beef was super aromatic from the garlic butter, umami from the brown sauce where the tender beef was cooked. The pasta was cooked more than I liked and it’s recommended that you eat the dish on the spot. After mixing with the brown sauce, the aromatic and buttery taste goes away and pasta soaks too much of the sauce.
Plenty of herbs with the dishes which makes it more refreshing and fragrant.
The service was good with one waiter multi tasking and with help from the kitchen serving the food.
Overall, very hearty and authentic tasting Vietnamese food.“

“I was a little skeptic at first due to some of the reviews, but to my surprise the food was good but the service was not that great (I was totally Ignored by a Blonde waitress). I had a large beef Pho. The atmosphere was great, good memories from my trip to Vietnam. The first table was dirty and I had to move to a different table with no silverware. After being ignored by Karen, I had to get up to find a different table to get a fork and a spoon. I can’t complain about the price since unfortunately I am living with hillbilly’s here in Rockwall and would need to drive to Richardson for better tasting and better priced pho.“

“Unlike a previous Customer who reviewed the same week I attended Golden City, my lunch version of their Orange Chicken chicken was perfect. I will admit it was not spicy to my liking but I did not request any higher setting other than default menu. Another person at my table did say their General Tso's Chicken was dry on the inside and there was a notable difference between our 2 cooked chickens. And I will agree, the egg rolls are awesome. The lady who greeted and served us was attentive and cheery! For me, the cost, quality, and experience were right on par with my previous visit.“

“Came here for a quick bite, able to be seated fast with no reservation, and served drinks right away. After ordering, food was brought out soon, and refills taken care of. Initial serving of breadsticks was plenty for the table of three, with no extras needed.“

“This place is amazing! Their customer service is stellar. They put their sauces on the side so any of the fried food with sauces stays crunchy and doesn't get soggy. They make excellent wonton soup and orange chicken. Portions are large and we always have leftovers.“

“My favorite food is combination lomein & hot & sour soup. But they have a lot of other good food. Btw, they do deliver too.12/14/2023. Today, I went to Snow Pea. Basically every Thursday is our Snow Pea Day. Has anything change? No. Same good food, friendly people. If things have changed, I'll also change & not be back. Give it a try.“

“We've tried different Panera branches but this is my favorite by far. Bonus that it's close to home. Great staff. They're friendly & always greet us with a smile. Food's good, although we miss the pizzas they used to offer. Love their Sip club! We always order their bagels & sourdough bread. They're sandwiches are huge & they use fresh good ingredients too. Clean store & they're quick to clean up spills & messes.“

“I am very grateful for my experiences with Frankie’s. This review is long overdue. Last year, I held my baby shower and Mr. Juan and his Frankies Team catered. They were well-organized and professional. It’s obvious they care about the quality of their events and services delivered. Everything tasted amazing and my guests were very happy. Mr. Juan did a great job taking care of me and assuring that everything ran smoothly. I give their catering services and food my highest recommendation.“
