Texas Pit BBQ Reviews
Worst BBQ in Texas I got my “ sliced beef” aka brisket and it tasted like beef jerky cold no flavor just absolutely nasty. Then I got there bbq soup it was even worse. They bring you out bbq on a styrofoam plates after giving the cashier $80 cash for 3 horrible plates . Definitely will not be going back and I’ll tell all my friends to stay clear away from this horrible food.
My brisket is way better. The sausage is not very good either.
Well the $50 I spent was was too much considering the meat was salty and I was charged for a scoop of ice cream that I didn’t receive. I didn’t receive the pickles or onions I requested either. The lady barking all the orders was straight faced, not friendly nor did she crack a smile once. I probably won’t return. I contacted them for a refund but have not received a call back

Texas Pit BBQ offers a great Texas-style dining experience with delicious barbecue and a welcoming, child-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its fantastic baked potatoes, tender brisket, and flavorful jalapeno sausage. Customers have praised the fresh and perfectly fried okra, as well as the tasty mac and cheese, though some felt the portions could be larger. The ambiance remains inviting, with a bar and covered patio area added over time. The staff is friendly, though some reviews suggest they could be more lively. The food continues to impress, with the half chicken being described as "amazing," and the menu offers a variety of great options. Many find the prices reasonable, and the hardworking staff makes Texas Pit BBQ a trusted spot in the community. It’s a place that has been serving great BBQ for years and remains a local favorite. Recent reviews highlight large, juicy beef ribs with woody aroma, though some found them a bit fatty. Customers enjoy catching up with friends here, praising quick service and the tasty okra batter, which seems like a secret recipe. However, some dishes like the big nasty aka frito pie received mixed reviews, with comments about cheese not being melted and brisket cut with the grain, leading to disappointment despite decent flavor. Overall, Texas Pit BBQ continues to be a popular destination for barbecue lovers.
