Food is as good as it always is. Great hole in the wall place. I did watch a lady in the kitchen take a spoon with a pot and taste it and put it back in the pot and then they turned around and tried to charge me .50 cents for extra salsa after ordering 2 meals. I didn’t argue because I didn’t want tocause a scene but considering salsa at the table when you order not to go is free asking for a few extra salsas shouldn’t be $.50 each extra. Will I come back. Yea. It’s convenient and decent.

This Old mom and pop place, you have to eat here! They load you up on food. The prices won’t break the bank and they only take cash. The tortillas are homemade, the best I’ve found. I haven’t had anything on their menu that I haven’t absolutely loved. They have great options for kiddos too, like a big pancake plate with all the sides. Sweet tea and coffee don’t disappoint. Their salsa is bomb. Everything is fresh. If you give it a chance I think this place might be your new favorite Texmex spot too!

Oh my! This is one of the best text mex nearby that we go to v going to SA. Prices are great for value and quantity you get for a plate of food! They don't skimp on anything. Atmosphere is great, service is outstanding. Enchiladas, Gorditas outstanding .Highly recommend if your ever in St. Hedwick.
