Fat Boss's has a nice ambiance to it and the bartenders are certainly well experienced. I enjoyed my time with the crowed and the staff. The environment can get a bit stale, however, and will definitely leave you feeling left out if you are alone, this is a location I would come with a group of friends, not so much a first date experience. Bianca definitely hooked it up with my drink order though, she's was consistent and timely, making sure I never ran dry!!

Came here to hangout to drink but I noticed a “rounded” fee on the tab after purchasing my drinks. I asked about what this “rounded” fee was about but the bartender could not explain this fee and that she had never seen it before. Very odd for a server to never see this fee before and have no explanation for it. Later in the evening, another individual had bought drinks and inquired about the fee too but unfortunately the bartender got upset due to lack of knowledge of explaining the “rounded” up fee and was overwhelmed with the conversation with him that she called for the officer on duty to escort him out. Very unprofessional in trying to resolve a simple question about charges made on the purchase. If anyone has any kind of explanation, please provide. Thank you.

I moved here back in May and I’ve had the opportunity to see this establishment grow from a regular dive bar to a downtown hotspot under new management! Great happy hour specials, live music, weekly catered events by local vendors, and spectacular customer service! Best bartenders in town! Definetly a spot to check out!

I have been there a couple times. It’s nice and relaxed. It is a good place to go if you want to go out and have a drink, but do not want such a loud crowd. There is also plenary of space in there to where you do not have to feel crowded.

Terrible! Don't expect fast turn around on drinks on Friday or Saturday nights. Service is really slow and bartenders ignore you if they don't know you on a personal level. Dont bother coming to this place if you have a short temper. Gratuity suffer a lot. Cheers!

I’d give them a zero star if possible. Waitress kept telling me my shot would be out. 40 min passed and I finally just left. They brought drinks around to the surrounding tables but somehow couldn’t make mine. I was going to up my tab more but now I won’t spend another dime there. Usually I’m super understanding as I work with the public (was when told they were backed up the first time) but after 40 minutes for one shot, no thank you. Wasted my time and money. First bar I hit up in Angelo ever and was highly disappointed.

This one in abilene needs the owners to come look at how things are ran its always hot cause ur ac is out cuz of the whole u have in the walls above it and causes ur compressor to go out,,, drinks are to strong and only friends get to eat and drink for free, for a free spot on facebook that she see first ,only she can see,,, we dont belive the owners know half of whats going ,,general manager are suppose to know the whole kitchen and now how to cook ur item instead of listening to ur friends over charging people and feeding ur friends cost u more in food cost and cost the owners money thats why i left and i still havent gotten paid yet,,,,, u have pictures of food in abilene that u dont even sell or staff that dont work there any more u need a new gm not a family friend that makes money not give it away isnt there places to call for not getting paid whats due,, texas workforce ,, labor laws ,,payday was tuesday if uail checks it dont take 3 days here in abilene it takes 2 at most and here i am waiting on fourth day for a checked i worked for and has not got paid and again my check did not show up in my mail box this woman is crooked cant run a kitchen or pay roll and pay people tbat worked thereall of this could of been avoided if u paid me like i worked this is sorry now its Saturday and still. NO check this woman needs to be fired there are labor laws for this by the stste of texas feel sorry for who ever works there now if this is how she runs a business i want my check
