Wonderful food every time (pancakes are AWESOME). Service is fantastic, the staff are all so sweet and kind and work their butts off every time I'm there, but they always find a minute to visit as well. I love Gil's.
We had a group for a birthday dinner last night. We waited over an hour when they told us it would be an 45 minute wait. They had empty tables and they said they couldn't put those together. We got to the table and was one chair short. They told us we couldn't move another table together. They didn't care about us having enough room at the table. We had two kids in laps. Gil's Restaurant consistently provides an amazing experience with great food and excellent service. The beef fajitas are a standout, and the Steak a la Mexicana is tender and delicious. Despite some issues with the phone and online ordering, Gil's Restaurant remains a favorite among the locals. The facilities could use some updates, particularly in the men's bathroom. While the fountain soda had no carbonation, the food is described as above decent, with the Mexican dishes being the highlight. Overall, Gil's Restaurant offers a nice, cool setting and excellent Mexican cuisine that keeps customers coming back.
