El Paisano Restaurant

This is THE authentic local Mexican food spot. I frequent the other mainstays when passing through, but El Paisano’s is authentic and traditional as it gets. During lunch, the place was packed and parking sparse. Plan to circle the building or try street parking. Either way, it is worth the wait to get inside. The interior is plain but with a decent amount of seating without that “pack ‘em in” feeling. I was pleasantly surprised by the heat in the unassuming salsa. The added bean dip was a bonus. The chips appeared homemade as was the flour tortillas. I opted for the Mexican plate special (beef and cheese enchiladas, rice, beans) which comes with tea. The plate was filled rim to rim and pipping hot. The cheese topping was nice and gooey but firm inside the enchilada. I cleared the plate. Patrons nearby ordered other menu items which looked equally enticing. Everyone was eating and enjoying themselves. I plan to return and try other menu items. I highly recommend.

Everyone was so friendly and fast! They all shared taking care of the tables which was great. We never waited for anything. The Mexican was really delicious and authentic!

Terrible service! I didn't even try the food because they didn't want to serve me lunch 10 min before 11 am, or even take my order after i was willing to wait. As soon as I walked in I wasnt sure if I was supposed to seat myself or if someone would seat me because there's no signs. So im just standing there and the workers are just looking at me. I had to ask if I could seat myself. 10 min later I get stale chips. 10 min after that I get watery coffee. 10 min after that they come to take my order only to tell me they are not serving lunch until 11am and it was 10:50. Glad I made the decision to leave instead of give them my hard earned money and gamble on the rest of the service being good.

My husband and i decided to have lunch at Piasano for the first time and it was absolutely wonderful. The food is delicious and the chef is an expert at seasoning his dishes. It’s now my very favorite place to go.

Definitely a new favorite place to eat! Friendly family style staff who all take turns taking care of tables, knowledgeable and love their jobs, they love their food too and will tell you details about it and why they recommend it! Their salsas are amazing! We had the tacos Mexicanos and they were so delicious!! I do wish they made handmade tortillas, that would take it to the next level but it was absolutely still so delicious! Meat cooked and seasoned well, just enough heat to keep you coming back for more and their beans and rice are just so comforting! Bless them and their beautiful environment with great food that they’ve created!🙌🏻❤️❤️ it was so good I dug right in and forgot to get a photo🤭😅
