Lived in Baltimore many years. Had to come allllllll the way here to have THE BEST CRAB CAKES I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!

Excellent spot for a more upscale meal in San Angelo! We ordered a filet and the crabcakes; both were delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the mushroom sauce was delicious! Also enjoyed the vegetable medley and garlic mashed potatoes, which were well seasoned.

Would recommend for a nice date night or anniversary!

We made a reservation (very important) and were greeted immediately. We were sat at a table that was very comfortable and roomy. Our waitress was amazingly sweet and offered great suggestions. I had a berry mojito with gin added and my husband had an old fashion. (We suggest trying the drink they were amazing balanced) we ordered truffle fries and steak and cheese egg rolls. They were flavorful, egg rolls were very crunchy but still edible. My husband's plate did come out before mine and we waited 5-7 minutes before mine did. My husband ordered a ribeye, which came with fries. I ordered the mediterranean beef kabob, which also came with fries. My only complaint is it was too much fries not enough veggies. There was no substitutation due to the new menu. But chef did stop at our table and let me know that they will be allowing it after they try out the new menu.

Overall good food, good atmosphere, will definitely come again.

Dietary restrictions: Not very diabetic friendly at the moment unless you are getting a salad as a meal.

The food was sooo good. We got rolls for appetizers that were amazing. And the guy made a drink with berries that was really good too. The food i think is made by a real chef.

Food, drinks, and service were really good! Items are pricey but I'd love to come back every month when their menu renews (from what I've seen online). It's nice to have a restaurant of this style in San Angelo.

Very disappointed. We looked online to make a reservation and 8:30 was available. .A lot of people recommended this was a lovely place for a date night. They called us 45 minutes prior to our reservation to wake us if we could come early. Due to us needed a babysitter and plans already made for tonight we could not make the arrangement last minute. I called and informed them of this and the person who answered the phone stated that it was fine. Then I received a called right back telling me that they will need to cancel my reservation because there was no tables for us and pretty much no food to offer l, and they can compensate us with an appetizer for free. Unfortunately we do not have the freedom. To just come and go and my husband is here for a small period of time before heading to his next based and just barely got home. They stated the chief had a private dinner in top of that that they could not serve me. however, if I would have gone early they would off? Well they define do not care, the way things keep changing just to cancel our dinner shows everything I needed to know. We had to find a place last minute.

I wish I took pictures but they still wouldn’t have done the taste of everything justice. Started with the pork belly appetizer and it was absolutely delicious! My fiance and I like spicy things so the sauce could’ve been a little more spicy but that’s being nit picky. I treated myself twice to a pink peasant drink, it was perfection. For entrees, I had the fish po boy and my fiance had the cheesesteak. Both were great, lots of flavor, and big portions! We ended with one of the best desserts we’ve ever had, the crème brûlée. Just ask for it and you’ll understand why I’m speechless about that concoction. Our server Thomas was attentive and had great recommendations! We cant wait to come back!

Traveled 90 minutes to visit after receiving a great referral. Nice, well maintained restaurant, nothing fancy. The chief visited our table when we we arrived, very friendly. Server was nice, very slow to get refills, had a lot of tables. Ordered the bread/toast appetizer w/balsamic and oil dipping sauce. Bread was over cooked, ran out of sauce, needed more, never saw server again until main course was delivered. I ordered a ribeye w/Jalapeño sauce, mash potato’s, green beans and a crab cake. My wife only eats shrimp as a protein, they were out of shrimp, no mention during the reservation process or online. She ventured out and order duck, same sides and side of scallops. For my entrée - steak had no flavor, very dry (ordered medium, looked medium) I told my wife it was the worst steak I have ever had. Mashed potato were ok, good flavor, very thin. Green beans had no seasoning, terrible. Crab cake was ok, not worth the price. I ate two bites of steak and took the rest to my dog, he loved it. My wife’s duck was dry, sauce was grainy, she felt the same about the mashed potatoes and green beans. The scallops were ok, no sign of them being seared, scallops need to be seared. I tried the duck, was ok but nothing special. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée. Looked very different from others we have had prior. I don’t like crème brûlée, but this was the best dessert I have every had in my life, my wife agreed. Next time we’re in the area we will stop by for two crème brûlées and a glass of wine and pass on the food.
