Passing through a city named San Angelo in Texas, if you were to stop at a diner called Pepe’s you would expect to find Really Good chips and salsa.The salsa served was 1 step below mediocre chips were unremarkable. Maybe expecting great salsa in the middle of February was unrealistic.The rest of the food was very good. Waitstaff is great.I’ll come back in August to try the salsa again.

I hadn’t been here in years, but the food and service was amazing! I ate everything on my plate. The salsa was great and fresh, and the rice was also very flavorful. They let me try a sample of the guiso, even though I ordered something else. We are going back soon.

I haven't eaten there in awhile. I was very, very disappointed. I was there with my grandson. The waitress brought his plate first. She brought mine 5 minutes later. She should have waited & brought them together. He waited to eat until I got my order. So his food was cold by the time he got to eat. The refried beans were not good. The waitress was not nice. I gave her a tip but she did not desire it. It'll be a long time before I go back & I will not recommend Pepe's to any of my friends.
The food was good the menu didn't even offer chimichangas. The servers were nice who we had to waive them down even though there was not that many patrons in the restaurant. The thing that bother me the most when I went to use the restroom there was no soap or paper towels and it didn't look like they cared when I pointed it out to the cashier.
