Well, I get a large chopped brisket plate. They give me three scoops of meat and continue to tell me this is a large and they weigh it. This is not worth your time. It’s a rip off. I understand small businesses need to make money, but this is literally three scoops of meat For 17+ dollars. I’ll take my money elsewhere next time. My pic is in photos holding a price of bread with the large brisket plate of three tablespoons of meat! Pathetic! Worse bbq in my life!

It was my first time going and I really loved it! When i walked in It gave me a nostalgic feeling of how the world used to be, folks sitting in and enjoying each other's company while eating some danm good smoked bbq! Nobody seemed to be botherd or to have any worries the best oart was no one was on there phone while eating! there were laughs and memories to be created. The staff makes you feel just as amazing they are respectful and kind and funny too! The food is amazing too! A small menu but bless that taste makes up for it for sure! Me personally I loved it. And I hope yall do too! Be blessed and safe.

They Might be the nicest people in San Angelo. Do you live far away from your family ? Drop in here they will make you feel like home. Good authentic food - super welcoming - decor is five stars.

Would’ve never known this place existed if I hadn’t been leaving another location nearby. Boy am I glad I did compared to other bbq spots the amount of food for the price and the taste are perfect. Definitely check this place out.

When I asked for lean brisket the older gentleman, possibly the owner laughed and mumbled under his breath. Meat was not edible. Threw it in the trash

Asked the older gentleman cutting beef for extra lean brisket. He laughed and mumbled under his breath then proceeded to give me fatty meat. He was obviously annoyed by my request. The meat was inedible in my opinion. Threw it in the trash and left. He did say thanks for coming with a smile when I exited his place.
Second time here to get 1 lb brisket, 1 lb sausage, and potato salad. Way too salty both times. And, if you like a lot of dill in potato salad, it's your place. Not for me, and never again at $60!! Good grief, take it easy on the salt!

The owner is very nice. The food is so good, not salty meat, but good tasting.The service is as quick as possible when busy at lunch. The prices on this website cost more now,2024, as all prices have gone up. To me the food is worth the price you pay for it.I think I'll go get me a delicious BBQ sandwich today. Thank the owner for all his good work and food.
