Good atmosphere.Located in the back of a brewery, with very good beer.Green beans and the mac were perfect! The beans were grilled or smoked... very tasty!The brisket and sauce was nothing to write home about. Cook times were off as the fat in the brisket had a slimy raw oyster texture. Dry rub was ok.Didnt get to try the chicken or sausage as they had sold out by 6pm on a sat.All in all.. id go back and try some pulled pork over mac n cheeseVegetarian options: .. they serve vegetables...read full review
???? So I went here just because I've been to all the bbq places already and I wanted to try SSBBQ. I ordered two 2 meat combos, one with brisket/turkey for my wife, and mine was brisket/ribs(I had a taste for ribs today). They were out of mac&cheese...I live 20 minutes away in Knickerbocker, thinking about those ribs all the way home. I miss this place so much. Many of the other San Angelo smoke houses I tried, came up short. So good. I hope they try their hand at making pastrami. And continue to expand their offerings.
