Reviews for The Boat

I thought the grilled oysters were too salty but I looked at and talked about the others' plates and they looked wonderful with Cajun seasoned b boiled shrimp and a fish platter with delicious fried catfish fillets. The portions for the players are very generous. Yes I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to friends.

My first time at the Boat and I had the best dining experience here. I had a very friendly and attentive waitress. I had the calamari sticks and frog legs for an appetizer-- absolutely loved them. I ordered the grilled fish and it tasted amazing. My wife had the seafood sampler which was also very good. The portions are very generous and well worth the money. This is a casual and fun place to eat or drink and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Overall, the place is decent. Food is generally good, although the service needs some work. T -shirts worn by staff with the slogan “Boats and Hoes” is extremely distasteful. This place has a lot of potential —but seems to be going downhill with each visit
