My first time at the Boat and I had the best dining experience here. I had a very friendly and attentive waitress. I had the calamari sticks and frog legs for an appetizer-- absolutely loved them. I ordered the grilled fish and it tasted amazing. My wife had the seafood sampler which was also very good. The portions are very generous and well worth the money. This is a casual and fun place to eat or drink and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
the food is A-MAZ-ING....HOWEVER... the service is not. we went twice, both times we were super happy with the foods we ordered but both times it took about 20 minutes to get our beers while sitting at the bar and the beers were both flat due to the bartender (different one each time) pulling half a pint, walking away then coming back about 10 minutes later to pull the rest of the pint. beer was hot and flat at that point. its unfortunate.

I thought the grilled oysters were too salty but I looked at and talked about the others' plates and they looked wonderful with Cajun seasoned b boiled shrimp and a fish platter with delicious fried catfish fillets. The portions for the players are very generous. Yes I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to friends.
