The only reason I’m not giving this place a 5 star is due to the wait. I placed myself on the waitlist via google and had my husband go to the restaurant to check in due to having 3 toddlers. Google waitlist only gives you the option to put up to 6 people and with the kids we were a total of 7. When I got to the restaurant I was already next in line to get a table but the hostesses told my husband the wait will be “a bit” longer due to adding the extra child (that wasn’t...
Food is normally very good, but I believe it is overpriced by 10-15% or more, especially the side dishes. They normally charge $0.50-$1.00 more for typical side dishes than others like Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Chili's, etc. I'm a frequent diner from these restaurants. For example, 54th Street charges $4.00 for several sides that the others charge only $3.00 (and it's not a larger side).
So far, the 54th Street is a nice restaurant. I have eaten there, but I was not pleased with the online order. It was barely warm by the time I got home. I only live 3 to 4 miles away
