Very welcoming and cozy. The staff and service rivals much more expensive eateries...fast,correct, and professional ? ? ? ?the gumbo is off the charts (see if you can identify their secret ingredient)!!! A great place for regular date nights...oh yeah, you must try the fried cabbage!!!

Ray was very friendly and helpful. We were a group of 16 and everyone was happy with there food. They have a senior menu with a nice selection. Most of menu is seafood and Cajun but there are other choices. I had country fried chicken and stuffed potato. Very good!

We did take out and when I picked it up the server took everything out and checked to make sure my order was correct! He was very pleasant! Their food is always hot, well seasoned and cooked to perfection! Their white fish and cabbage and gumbo are the best!

Food and prices are amazing. With my wife and I both being from Louisiana agree that this place tastes like home. It has a back country Louisiana family owned restaurant atmosphere to it that makes it feel like home. The only “critique” I would have would be the floor (at least the entryway of the restaurant) could use a little love as it felt sticky when walking on it the several times I’ve been. This could just be me being picky, but it’s not a deal breaker for the amazing food, atmosphere, and friendly staff that you get when you visit this amazing Cajun gem in San Antonio.

It's been a couple years since I've been here since I live in DFW, but I have made the drive with just to eat here before. I would give it 10 stars if possible. The many times I've been here, I've never tried anything I didn't love. The atmosphere is like a much much less commercialized cracker barrel but with a wide open, spacious dining area. Tables are generally spaced so you're not bumping into or eavesdropping on other diners. Great great place!

Use to be a great place.been going there since the 90’s the owner Dave use to be customer friendly. Went there for birthday gathering with 10 people total. We spent good money. Had a cake and asked for plates for the cake the waiter said he have to charge I thought he was talking about for to go plates he was talking about to use their plates I said we don’t want to keep them he said I know we charge to use them because they have to pay the dishwasher to wash them ?(dave) that’s why we charge extra. If they would’ve told us that when we made reservations we would’ve just went to Pappadeaux’s. And the restrooms was dirty we will NEVER go there again.

When I heard this place described as "Cajun Cracker Barrel" I KNEW I had to try it!Let me tell you folks, this place is the real deal. Everything was delicious and the staff and food were authentically (and delightfully) "country". I ordered the Cajun sampler plate and each dish was more scrumptious than the last! When I heard that they had home made peach cobbler I knew I was in for a REAL treat. This place was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. A true hidden gem worth checking out!

We visited Acadiana Cafe for lunch last week for takeout after seeing them featured on the TV. We ordered the one piece Fried Pork Chop with sides of Fried Okra, Gravy, Cabbage, and Cornbread. We also ordered hush puppies bud did not receive them. The second order was Fried Fish and Shrimp with cornbread, and Red Beans and Rice. The third order was Petite Jambalaya with sausage and cornbread. The Fried Pork Chop, Fried Fish and Shrimp did not have enough seasoning at all so would not order any of those again. The Jambalaya with sausage on top, Fried Okra, Cabbage, and Cornbread were all very good. We will return again and try some other dishes and would recommend you give them a try.Parking: Ample free parking is available.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible.
