When I heard this place described as "Cajun Cracker Barrel" I KNEW I had to try it!Let me tell you folks, this place is the real deal. Everything was delicious and the staff and food were authentically (and delightfully) "country". I ordered the Cajun sampler plate and each dish was more scrumptious than the last! Authentic cajun food, the alligator was perfection! The seafood gumbo was as it should be, and the hushpuppies were also delicious. My hubby and kids all enjoyed their dinners as well. The live music was nice but a bit loud.Update: the crab cake is nothing to write home about, but everything else is still great!

It's been a couple years since I've been here since I live in DFW, but I have made the drive with just to eat here before. I would give it 10 stars if possible. The many times I've been here, I've never tried anything I didn't love. The atmosphere is like a much much less commercialized cracker barrel but with a wide open, spacious dining area. Tables are generally spaced so you're not bumping into or eavesdropping on other diners. Great great place!
