Bunuelos taste stored, corn tortillas taste like Mexico👍, flour tortillas taste stored, barbacoa all meat tacos were bomb, green chile is hot & could eat it with tortilla by itself, & only the pork tamales were nostalgic like grandmas

The corn masa to make tortillas is fresh and delicious.

Tamales are my weakness.Bought two dozen tamales and one lb barbacoa. The tamales and barbacoa were Extremely Greasy. As mush as I love tamales I only at a few and i did not eat the barbacoa. This is Not good. Imagine someone eating this greasy food every weekend.

I'm from San Antonio, I had family bring me 3 dozens of pork tamales and they were a huge disappointment 😞 No meat, no favor, and they were dry😞. This place has always been my favorite but this is the 2nd time I'm let down. I live in Dallas but I'm a San Antonian, Dallas has Nothing like San Antonio when it comes to Mexican Cuisine NOTHING! I'm so sad in I didn't get that flavor I was looking for. What's happening with the lack of ingredients 🤔. Oh well 🤷 I hope y'all start tasting the outcome of thr tamales that y'all serve Quality vs Quantity 👌

I'm a big fan of the regular barbacoa at Adelitas. It's one of the best tasting barbacoa joints in town. Their corn tortillas are a bit too coarsely ground for me, as is their masa for tamales. They carnitas are always really solid for me on the weekends. I've seldom bought Monday through Thursday, but it's been one of my most trusted barbacoa places for the weekend over the last 30+ years.

This has been around since i've been in grade school. It was one of the first tortilla factories here in san antonio, and eventually began into barbacoa and tamales and much more, you can get your entire Saturday and Sunday breakfast. For your entire family or a great amount of people. They offer original mix barbacoa and all meat awesome awesome awesome

There may be better tamales in San Antonio—but I wouldn’t know. Ever since I tried Adelita’s Tamales, I’ve been a loyal customer. As someone from South Texas, this place truly feels like home. From the friendly staff to the comforting aromas of the tortillería, everything here feels effortlessly authentic. And don’t even get me started on the barbacoa—it’s the kind that keeps you coming back, again and again.
