Afghan Kabab House

Couldn’t recommend this place more. We’re in town for a graduation and they were super accommodating for a large party. Went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and let us even hang a sign, cut cake and etc. The food is soooo good, delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend the chicken kabob and kofta kabob. Meat is super soft and tender, while still being authentic and flavorful.

Afghan Kabab House exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The staff truly made us feel like valued guests.
Now the food… absolutely incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The kababs were juicy and tender, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the bread—fresh, warm, and perfect for scooping up every last bite. The green tea was a 10/10.
You can tell everything is made with love and authenticity.

I’ve come here multiple times. The food is always made fresh to order. The lamb chops and kebabs are amazing as well as the freshly cooked bread. The employees are always very respectful and helpful. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re skeptical!

This Afghan Kabob House is truly a gem. I can say proudly I have not had a meal of this quality in a very long time considering I’m a houston native where the food scene is of high regard. LAMB KABOB SANDWICH was dripping in flavor with lamb so tender that it was smooth as butter as you ate.. amazing, loved it. The AFGHANI CHAPLI KABOB is at a loss for words on how flavorful it is. Even their Complimentary Daal (lentils) is insanely delicious with fresh naan. Will definitely be making this restaurant my go to for the best Afghani food and hospitality.

The place isn't super visible from outside. I think it's under a sign called take out or something like that.

I ordered the smaller family platter for $43. A lot of rice for the price. It came with the beef chapli kabob, which was really good, the lamb kabob, which was also really good, and the chicken kabob, which was pretty good but a little burnt. The pilaf was yummy; the raisins and carrots were too sweet for me, but there wasn't too much where I couldn't just move it aside.
