Tldr: very good and satisfying. Will be going back this week and regularly from now on until my experience changes. I went to lunch with a work group of 12 for the first time today. Service was adequate, though some may find the lack of server finesse less than desirable. I've been going to Sompong's for a few years now. I am almost always satisfied. The food is very fresh and served piping hot. I usually order the chinese. Something like mongolian beef. The fried rice leaves a little to be desired. But the sauce, the meat, and veggies are really nice. I've tried the thai dishes as well such as the pad thai and red curry. We went on a Friday around 2. We were the only ones in there which made me weary. But our waiter was attentive. Food was great, lunch specials were good. Spicy is spicy. I would have given a 5 star if my noodles didn't seem over cooked. But flavor was delicious.
