We had an amazing time at Anaqua! We enjoyed the day and ended up staying for 6 hours! Ernest and the patio team were so sweet and excellent hosts! The service, food and atmosphere was phenomenal. We will be back and don't be surprised if we end up being regulars.

Ceviche was really great, service friendly, but DJ was pumping house music extremely loud. The beat was ok at first but eventually overwhelming. We quickly left.

As a 15 year plus downtown resident, this is our backyard. With 30 plus years in the hospitality field (now retired) I feel I can bring you real insight into our locations. The good, the bad and the ugly. If we run across a serious issue, I will always go directly to management and not post it. I truly believe you always must give management an opportunity to correct a serious issue. If not corrected and or just ignored, then I feel it is correct to inform the public – professionally. No establishment is perfect. I will bring to you smaller hiccups we may have come across. I will rarely comment on the taste of food – being bad, as that is a very personal thing. My wife and I disagree on taste of food and wine, no one is wrong or right. Now if the food is on fire, burned, under/overcooked to our requests, that would be mentioned. With that said, what a jewel we have found. It was remolded and had not been back (a year ago) It's like you're not in San Antonio. Great vibe, music, food and drinks. Customer service 5 plus. Stephanie's customer service oozed out of her. The hotel is lucky to have her! You can tell it was in her DNA, and yep... to come to find out her mom has worked on property for 20 years! We will be back for sure. Not the cheapest in the area and at a hotel. We didn't mind paying a bit more for the quality of the food and drinks and of course the elevation of service from Stephanie.

The Christmas menu at Anaqua is awesome! We tried the sweet sanctuary, naughty but nice and the do you cheers what I do. All cocktails were great and very festive. Also Zac at the bar is awesome! Great experience!

The food and drinks were excellent! Elias, the manager, even came by and made sure my party was doing well which was super nice! The ambience is great and the greenery makes everything feel so peaceful. I will definitely be returning!
The patio area is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and amazing going over the menu with us. When we were undecided on drinks, she brought us two samples to decide. The sushi tacos and ceviche were some of the best I've had. Overall a great place with great service and food/drinks.

What a great atmosphere for cocktails and socializing. The drinks themselves were wonderful; reasonably priced for what you get and nicely presented with accoutrements. The staff was also very friendly. If you go to a place like this in Austin you'd get a lot of pretentiousness from staff. If you've been, you know what I'm talking about. The food menu was a little limited and portions left a lot to be desired considering the cost (imagine six Ritz crackers with a spoonful of crab salad on each and paying $20). Regardless, we would definitely go back, more for drinks than dinning.

Whether or not they validate for eating at the restaurant. Everyone we talked to told us a different story. The valet guy working alone, almost started to argue with us about it.
