Service was quick but it was also dead inside when we were brought out food it tastes like typical pre frozen food just thawed and prepared and the menu is not very clear on some of the items particularly the “fried wontons” which is just the wrapping for the wontons that they’ve decided to throw on the menu and when we questioned the server about the food that was brought out to us he was very unhelpful about the problems we pointed out to him overall wouldn’t recommend and won’t be coming back

So we discovered this place a few weeks ago. Total hidden gem status. They have lunch specials even on the weekends, which is a total plus for us since we usually want Chinese on Sundays when a lot of them are closed. Anyways, the portions are typical lunch size portions and are plenty for one person. Usually the only leftovers we have are from my 12 year old. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. We've officially made this our Sunday lunch spot to the point where we have a usual table and the waitress already knows our drinks and usual orders. Totally recommend!

Why doesn’t the owner close on the holidays for his employees spend time with there family I see them work on holidays whoever the owner is concerned about it

Had to wait for a while for my food I got 2 lunch specials beef and broccoli, and the general chicken got super small portions spent 22 dollars almost 23 the food was ok but for the wait and the amount of food not worth it panda would of been better

I hate to write this because the food is pretty good here, but
Yesterday I went to eat with a friend , and despite asking for a split check more than twice, it STILL wasn't when we went to pay. Then a male cashier took it upon himself to complete the transaction for me after I realized the check was still not split. Reached over and pressed accept as I was asking to split the check once again. That pissed me off pretty good. I have NEVER seen a cashier mess with my payment like that. really did not appreciate it.
If they don't want you to split checks that's their business but they need to make that clear.

I would still recommend this place for the food but either be ready to pay one check or make it very clear that you're trying to split it.

Please DO NOT eat here!!!! I placed an order to go and found a maggot in my food. I tried calling the restaurant to speak to the owner or Management and was told that they do not take phone calls. I tried explaining the situation to Steve which is who answered the phone and he refused to help me out and hanging up on my phone call.

My son has been going there for years with his family and he swears by the food that it's the best Chinese food, even better than Golden Wok or other restaurants. And he's been wanting me to go there all the time and my sister and I went with him today 4/26/2025, and it was the best that I've eaten. The food was great and the quality and quantity of food was great for the price. First time I ever got sesame seed chicken that was really sesame seed chicken, not just chicken with a lot of sauce and very few sesame seeds. It was great and the egg rolls and the rangoon. just everything about it and it being owned and operated by husband and team. Great family business!😁❤️

Food is not what it used to be. It used to be better, specifically the fried rice. Dissapointed and is also expensive

Tom Holland is the best! Recommended calamari, checked to see if we were always full on our drinks.

I got sick I regret trusting the reviews for this place. The lo mein was dried these noodles were not fresh had a funky taste… the Mongolian beef was horrible ithe onions looked transparent they were not fresh . I got sick Ithe Mongolian beef flavor was not from Mongolian beef dish . Had to throw both dishes away . Spent over 30 dollars 😢

Very pleasantly surprised!!! A Lil intimidating to walk in but i am glad we did!!! Their food was some of the BEST food we have had. The spring rolls were just as good. We ordered soups as well. Sooooo very good. We will definitely be back!!!

Best Chinese cuisine I’ve had in San Antonio! I had the orange chicken and it was actually cooked and included with marinated orange peels. I tasted a few of the peels and they were yummy! I really enjoyed what the cook did to elevate the dish. The chicken is cut up and battered it’s not the store bought chicken balls. The egg rolls are also really good. The portion size was adequate for the price. The service staff were nice and very accommodating.

The atmosphere could be more inviting it felt dated and like a work in progress. I preferred takeout after entering. I will definitely eat here again takeout only.
