The dining experience at Baan Thai last night was a disaster. Several dishes didn't meet the expectations, and the handling of our feedback by the manager/owner was unprofessional and disrespectful.Last week we got some fried rice and drunken noodle to go from baan Thai. We liked it and wanted to dine in. We always want to support a small business. We ordered chicken satay - it was very dry and chewy to eat. It didn’t look fresh. 0/5Baan Thai Sampler Platter - chicken spring rolls were over cooked - 3/5Pot stickers very dry as well - 2/5Crab Rangoon tasted fresh and nice -4.5/5Vegetable spring rolls - 3/5 over cooked.Kids chicken noodle was a disaster. It was not fresh food that was served . My friend wanted to see why kids were not eating and he tasted it and spit the whole thing out. How can you serve stale food?Panang Curry - 3/5 it was on in taste but not great about it.Basil fried rice with extra egg and cashews was good -5/5.The server was more focused on the phone rather than service. She did not even check with us on the spice level of the food. When we mentioned the chicken satay was not good and the chicken noodle for kids. She called the manager/owner and he started yelling at his employee saying whenever the food is not good she needs to show it to him and not to discard it. He went to the trash can to look at it. He is not an employer whom I would look to work for. Then he started yelling at us saying the good should not be consumed if it is not good, we showed him the complete plate how it was served to us then he went in looking for chicken satay in trash can. I am surely not coming back to this business for sure. I would have given 3 starts at least but with this kind of behavior, would definitely be a negative star.As a customer, encountering such behavior can be extremely off-putting. The server's lack of attentiveness, coupled with the manager/owner's response to valid concerns, shows a lack of customer service skills and an inability to handle criticism constructively.Yelling at an employee in front of customers, especially for trying to dispose of unsatisfactory food, is inappropriate and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone present. Moreover, being yelled at as a customer when sharing legitimate feedback about the food is not only disrespectful but also reflects poorly on the establishment's professionalism and ability to handle customer complaints.A good business owner or manager should handle complaints with grace, respect, and a willingness to rectify the situation. Engaging in arguments, blaming staff in front of customers, and raising voices not only fails to address the issue but also drives customers away. This negative encounters has impacted me as a customer and the perception of this place, overshadowing any positive aspects of the dining experience. My feedback should serve as constructive criticism, highlighting areas for improvement in customer service and overall experience for the business to consider.

The chicken appetizer was a bit dry and over-cooked. I ordered the drunken noodles at a level 3 spiciness, and it was quite a bit spicier than I think it should have been. The flavor was okay, but it seems like it should have been a little less spicy. The cups of tea were served with very little ice. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. I probably wouldn't eat here again.

I've ordered the Panang and Massaman Curry. Their Curry wasn't quite on point with what I wanted. You may love it but I like more of a presence of the coconut milk. It's a small place with 1 waitress. She is good on service though.

I take my wife for the first to a Thai restaurant, she didn’t like the cuisine and the flavor contained some sweetness. Kids also not liked that made me take all their portions as well ?All tasted good.

This was a wonderful surprise find and the sweetest staff! Tucked away in a small shopping center and didn't disappoint. My husband had the seafood specialty, and I had green curry. Select your heat from level 1-5 and 3 blew my socks off! We will definitely be coming back.

This place slaps. I've lived here for 3 years and I've tried most of the Thai places in town and this is our favorite one. Just consistent you know?

Easy parking, and a wide selection of dishes. This might be our favorite Thai place on the northwest side: fresh and fast and friendly. We were seated immediately and had a broad selection of dishes to pick from, and all of it was delicious. We had plenty left to have a second meal, too. The waitress was attentive and brought us samples of another dish to try as well! We will be back.

Chose this place randomly, and I'm glad we did. With an extensive menu, it was hard to choose, so we ordered the ones labeled as "favorites." The kids LOVED their food and we were even asking to buy more to go. Their spice levels are 1-5 and at level 3, my Drunken Noodles got me glistening. The only server there was very kind and as attentive as she could be. Definitely coming back with the family and bringing my coworkers here for lunch.
