Food was great, only one server so she was a little busy and forgetful but very nice

Awesome! Went here with my dad and boyfriend and it was really good! I personally had malt vinegar and lemon with my onion rings and gumbo (don't judge me unless you've had it, or your opinion ain't valid.) There was even room under the table for me and my boyfriend's cane's :3 It was a Thursday night near closing time so we were the only customers there, I will say the tvs and 2 different songs playing at the same time were kinda overstimulating and I forgot my headphones at home, but otherwise it was nice!

Fish is expensive

The gumbo was delicious! Very flavorful dark roux. The oxtails were chewy, but collard greens were good, they tasted fresh. Comes with a pice of cornbread

Try is place out for the first time I got the catfish plate was so good I would come back for more

I am so disappointed with my experience. I walked in excited. Great customer service and atmosphere. Got my food although hot, and pretty no flavoring to fish besides salt. . Greens taste like stems and sweet potatoes no sweetness or flavor.

One of the Best places to get soul food in the city.

The outside of this place looks a little beat up but PLEASE do not let that deter you. I went for lunch today as I had a work meeting In the area. The inside is clean and the wait staff were so friendly. The catfish is phenomenal as well! If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be stopping in. Catfish done right is hard to find.

I bought the 10 piece catfish and fries platter glad it everything was good no problems to report. And oh yeah they do charge your extra dollar if you use a credit card

Back in the day beasea was off the chain I haven't been in years but today the food was fast and also trash if u come on wwhite keep goin past if u wanna waste your money stop on by they will surely disappoint you!! The fish was old and bland no falvor which was cooked in old burnt grease my cabbage like it was boiled they gave me alot of mash potatoes I ordered to go!!! STraight Trash I wasted 30 dollars they charge u a dollar for using your dept card without u knowing Smh never again

They've been secretly charging credit card fees of over $1.50 on all transactions and not telling anybody. You are required by federal law to disclose that to the consumers. When I discovered the additional charges, I told the lady at the cash register they need to put a sign up stating there is an extra charge for using credit and debit cards. I don't like being taken advantage of as a consumer and regular. I've been coming to bayseas since they used to sell the fish, clean it, and cooked it for you back in the day. Great service, food and restaurant. Put up the required merchant sign about the additional charges on credit card.
