Love Big Lou's. However, this was the first time I ordered 2 pizza's on the phone and picked them up. I usually sit and enjoy the atmosphere and get a nice drink.I didn't check my pizza's until getting home after a 45 min drive to discover one was overcooked! Unfortunately, I had a 15hr drive the next morning, so I picked at it and this was my meal. I gave the good one to my friends whom I wanted to give a good experience like I've always had...and they loved it!I'll give them another chance to redeem themselves next time I'm in town...so don't disappoint me again Big Lou's!Thanks for all the other fantastic ? 's!Ohhhh....I forgot, they didn't tell me that there is an additional charge of 3% fee to use a credit card until i arrived, luckily I had some cash on me that night...and I expressed that they should provide that information when you place your order.Cynthia

Went there on our trip to the San Antonio area , highly recommend it ... The wait was a little long but worth the wait ... One thing is make sure you have a big appetite, their pizzas are big .. they do have a variety items on their menu but you can no never go with with pizza for a big crowd
It’s clear that the reason to go is the oversized pizza. Outside of that, the wait is pretty long. We were seated then asked to move for a larger party (not terrible justification). When we asked for a box for a 16” pizza we were given a comically small box (8” pizza at best). Good spot for tourist but not the best for service or good food.
On 07/28/2023, our family drove a long way (273 mi.) to celebrate our daughter's 20th birthday, at Big Lou's Pizza, in San Antonio. Best choice we could have made. Our server, Zak L., was really attentive and one hell of a nice guy! One needs to experience this pizzeria for themselves. Just remember, you will not, be disappointed.Parking: The parking lot was big enough to hold any crowd. It was safe, secure and room enough to open your car doors without hitting the car next to you.

Out of town visitor.Hour wait for table.More than an hour waiting for two 12" pizzas.Service overwhelmed.Never got to try the pizza.Didn't come here to wait 25% of an 8 hour shift.Run away.
