*add to favorites* I have been all over San Antonio trying to find good birria. Once I saw that they have lamb consume, I just knew this was going to be it. Yes. 10/10 food and atmosphere here. Great salsa bar, excellent food, and well priced!!

Birrieria y Taqueria is an absolute must-try if you love authentic Mexican birria.

The flavors are rich, bold, and exactly how birria should be. Come hungry — portions are generous and this is not light food. If you’re into cabeza (cow head), you’re going to love it here… it’s seriously addictive.

I enjoyed everything, and the lamb tacos are a standout.

I had tried going through the drive-thru before but ended up leaving because the ordering area is right next to the dumpster and oil disposal—it smelled pretty bad and killed my appetite.

This time, I gave it another shot because I was really craving quesabirria tacos, and I’m glad I did. The tacos were absolutely delicious and definitely worth it.

Just a heads up—keep your window up until you’re ready to order to avoid the smell....
