We ordered the 8oz wagyu cooked rare, and it was cooked perfectly. At first glance, the sear gave the appearance of being over done, but when we cut in, it was perfection. Wife and I stopped In for our anniversary dinner . Had the pleasure of being served by Mr. Fox . Extraordinary service and experience by Mr. Fox and all of the other employees that tended our table . His knowledge of all menu items and expertise on wine selection was out of this world ! Awesome presentation on the A5 steaks ! By far the best dinning experience we have ever had . Everything was a fresh , hot , and wonderfully prepared! 10/10 would recommend! Definitely will be back soon .

Bahanans never disappoints. It is among our top three restaurants in San Antonio. Snapper Royal is my favorite, while my husband always gets a steak. Be sure to order a table side flambeau dessert! The service is some of the best in the country!

I took my son for his birthday, and the whole family had a great experience. The staff was attentive, and the classy atmosphere made the dining experience excellent. This is the kind of restaurant you choose for special occasions or when you want to impress someone you've been dating for a while.

Everything was top notch, from the appetizers to the perfectly cooked steaks. The only downside is the location. Since it's downtown, Houston Street can get very busy on weekends or during special events. When we went, it took an extra 20 minutes just to get there because of traffic. It's definitely worth planning ahead, but the experience once inside made it more than worth it.

We were there for our 47th wedding anniversary and the service was exceptional from the greeting out front through our departure. We enjoyed a cocktail prior to being seated and our waiter Rudy was exceptional. We are planning to travel back a make this an annual date. We had the Waygu bone in ribeye that melted in your mouth and was so flavorful. The Banana Foster was a nice finish. We had an amazing time.

All I can say is that Bohanans is by far the most consistent steak house I have ever been to. From the excellent service ambience, food and drinks it is so nice to know it will be excellent each time. Thank you!

I want to complement Bohanan's for the wonderful meal and service we received last night celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door till we exited we were treated with refined elegance. The old-fashioned cocktails were great, the food was cooked to perfection, the presentation was perfect, and the staff was outstanding. Special thanks to David, who greeted us when we stepped off the elevator and led us to our table with such gentlemanly grace and charm, Fassio who was an outstanding waiter who made knowledgeable suggestions about the menu and served us at every point in the meal, and Xander who kept the water glasses full and assisted us with our needs throughout the meal. We will remember, treasure, and talk about this meal experience and most certainly will be returning.
