I took my wife for a date night. The downstairs was nice, good atmosphere but when they took us upstairs to be seated the noise was so loud we couldn't hear each other cross our small table. There were multiple extremely loud tables, one had a bare foot child pushing a stroller around in the restaurant! We placed our order right away and it still took over an hour to get our meals. This is not how I wanted to spend $200! The drinks were great but DO NOT go here for a date night! Better places to spend your money.
We were recommend to try this restaurant by our hotel and it was fabulous. Love the vibes of the first floor bar area and the dining room upstairs was great. We had a nice curved booth. The service was top notch! They give you a little amuse bouche to start. My husband and I split the house salad and hitch was tasty. We had sea bass and mesquite snapper along with the lobster cremed corn. All was AMAZING! Highly recommend
Very good food I had fua gra and lobster corn which was the best ever. The filet mignon steak was delicious as was the Apple Martini. My date had Sea Bass which was good, The servers are great.
Such an exceptional dining experience all around! Truly the best in San Antonio. The French onion soup is loaded with onions and cheese and the special scallops are cooked perfectly- not to be missed. The filet was so tender and flavorful with the temperature just as requested. Special shout out to our wait staff, especially Megan, who was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Waiter describes the menu in such a way that if you didn't order the wagyu you might as well pick a steak at Walmart and cook it yourself!! 2 $25-$30 martinis were disappointing as well hardly a full glass and no ice on top as was requested. Wine suggestion by the same waiter turned out to be kind of a nowhere choice so overall food OK no value at that price thank you. A bid deal of attention was made, to it being my sons birthday However no comp dessert was offered
What a wonderful experience! The food was phenomenal and so delicious. The service was top notch and the staff was so friendly. Every person welcomed us when we arrived and thanked us when we left. Thank you for appreciating our visit! The sweetened jalapeños were to die for. (and I don't do jalapeños!) We tried the candied bacon appetizer- let me just say yummy! We dined on the salmon and fillet (melted in my mouth delicious) Our sides were the mushrooms, lobster corn and au gratin potatoes - all so delicious. And to top it off the crème brûlée was divine. A dining experience to remember!
This remains in my opinion the top steak house in San Antonio. It is not cheap and is a little crowded, but the food and the service are exquisite.
This place hires , people like my brother, and offers 16.50$ for dish then, he work from 3 pm till 11.30 pm that’s 8:30 hours, he should off 132.80 . At the end off the night all wet he only gets 80$ they took over 50$ of his money, that they stole from him, he works downtown all his life he’s a good worker, but he said that’s the worst place to work at , the owner and the mangers talk down to the workers, besides not paying them correctly, they fire people ugly by disrespecting , them. He saw that him self, the dish bend is really really small, they show you the best up front but in the back they are hiding terrifying hidden trues, that the managers and specially the owner, are abusive to the employees. And that is the honest true about this place.

The steak was the best I have ever had and it’s not close. The lobster cream corn was something we’ve never even thought of and it was out of this worId. I dropped in passing to Danny that it was the best steak I’ve ever had, shortly after the executive chef came out and talked to us and thanked us for visiting. I will scream from the mountain tops that if you’re in SA, you come to Bohanan’s!!

Exactly what you expect from a place like this. Outstanding service from Jonathan, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. Our A5 wagyu steaks were prepared perfectly. They even made things extra special for our anniversary. 10/10

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Requested to take the rest with me, only to found out that nothing was packed in my container. They left the fish out and put in vegetables!!!

Went on a trip to SA and truly enjoyed the service. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyed the cocktail service. Very similar to the atmosphere of Michelin star restaurants in Mexico City and SoCal.

I visited this restaurant for a work dinner after hearing from many locals that it serves one of the best steaks in town, and they were absolutely right. We had an amazing experience, and everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend trying the scallops and the spicy bacon for appetizers!
