If I could give this place 10 stars I would. SERVICE EXCELLENT. ATMOSPHERE EXCELLENT. FOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD. I literally had the best tostada of my LIFE! Was skeptical reading there was creamy corn on it but COME ON!!! That was soooo good. If you are anywhere in the absolute vicinity of this place come here IMMEDIATELY. Make a BEELINE! And if you try ANYTHING get the San Antonio tostada with the Chicken. You will NOT be disappointed.

Ok for this to just be right down the road I'm a little embarrassed that I just found it. This is probably my new favorite coffee shop in downtown. I might also be biased because I know a guy but this place is awesome. It's quiet but the atmosphere is very elevated western think leather tufted seating and a bison. It's definitely a vibe. I just stopped in for a coffee to go but hope to go back to linger. The coffee was great, the staff fantastic, and the space begs you to sit down and blow off your responsibilities.

Anacacho Coffee & Cantina is a quick bite and drink spot just off the St. Anthony Hotel lobby. The decor is Texas meets an upscale Red Dead Redemption style with a laid back vibe and an adorable, curated feel. Service is friendly, helpful and engaged without being intrusive, and the staff are nice and accommodating. The menu transitions from a daytime coffee shop with espresso drinks, iced latte and bourbon on the rocks to an evening cocktail lounge with a wonderful cocktail menu that includes an espresso martini, green grasshopper and other drinks that can be pricey. Food fare is a fusion of Southern fried and Asian spice. Popular dishes include pork belly tacos, big red & barbacoa tacos, anacacho burger, Asian pear & strawberry salad, fried chicken sandwich, skewer small plate and a local dish that is delicious. Portions are large and value is extremely good. Gluten free options are available with a separate frying oil for the chicken sandwich and fries. The atmosphere feels elevated and exclusive while remaining affordable. Overall the place offers excellent service, excellent drinks and excellent food in a small café style setting that feels both relaxed and sophisticated. The bourbon on the rocks was perfect and the espresso martini was perfect. The scent of the cleaner is strong and chemical but the frequently clean vibe. There is no wait and the small number of full tables adds to the relaxed vibe.
