We had just finished doing the Alamo and this is right across the street. Wanted to treat the kids to something cold. Wasn't a fan of the gelato at all. Had the cheesecake and the waffle cone crumble on it was rubber. True flavor wasn't the best either. Kids loved theirs. Set up was funky where storage was everywhere. The way the gelato coolers are, people were just walking up asking for samples while I was trying to order and others got served before us when they came after us....read full review
We went thru the Alamo and it was beyond interesting! I love hearing of historical events. But we we're beyond melting into a puddle. We could see Francesco's sign and almost walked away thinking there was no way to eat it there.The storefront is very small but they have ample seating in the back. I'm so glad they did cause that was a deal breaker that day, (107°outside)The gelato is totally top notch! I tried the berry. Didnt like the icecream, no real flavor, just very sweet. The waiter was super unmotivated and looked very bored, didnt told us that you pay per cup and not per scoop. Cant recommend.
