Food 10/10, some of the best food I’ve had … ever. Service was 4/10, the guy was super nice but drinks never filled, hardly ever saw him, had to get his attention when I did see him, he was probably just having an off day.
What a great experience. Calvin was an excellent server (personable and attentive). He gave insightful opinions of the menu and the food was excellent. It was a cold night in San Antonio. We sat outside under the patio and the heat lamps overhead kept us warm. The restaurant also provided blankets to everyone. Nice Touch!
Dinner on the Riverwalk is usually good to great, however, Boudro's was exceptional. We got the guacamole and though I do not like that, it was made right the table and I understand it was fabulous. The chips were also fresh and flavorful. The drinks, purp mojitos, were delightful and refreshing, even on a chilly evening. For the main course we both got steaks, she ordered the 8oz filet, well done and I got the 16oz sirloin, medium. Both were cooked just as we wanted and...
