Spent a delightful Saturday afternoon here. Cannot recommend it enough. Lovely and Carmine was exceptional. Wonderful vibe and delicious food.

Had a wonderful date night at Braza Brava Pizzeria Napoletana. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server was excellent. The Italian Crème Soda was refreshing, the Crostini was savory and full of flavor, and the Zuppa Toscana was rich and creamy with fresh sausage.

The Salsiccia Piccante pizza was delicious with a perfect crust and fresh ingredients. One of the best parts of the evening was meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind and took the time to talk with us about the fresh ingredients used throughout the menu.

We finished with dessert, and the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake, Tres Leches Cake, and Tiramisu were all amazing. We will definitely be back!

We visited Braza Brava tonight after hearing good things and were looking forward to experiencing a place that takes Neapolitan pizza seriously. The space itself is beautiful exposed brick, a mix of booths and tables, and a warm atmosphere that feels thoughtfully designed. It’s clear they invested heavily into the restaurant, especially the pizza oven, though surprisingly it doesn’t feel showcased as part of the experience. Instead, much of the attention seemed centered around the parmesan wheel pasta presentation. The evening started a little rough. When our waiter first approached the table, the initial interaction felt a bit rushed. We mentioned it was our first visit and needed a minute, and the response was simply that he’d come back later. It set the tone in a way that felt more procedural than hospitable. To his credit, I think he later realized he had missed an opportunity to introduce us to the restaurant and create a better experience. After I ordered a Negroni and mentioned again it was our first visit, he became more engaged and began telling us about the restaurant and menu. We ordered the Carpaccio di Bresaola, Pizza Bufala, and Capricciosa. The carpaccio was probably the highlight of the meal. It showed restraint and balance, and the ingredients felt thoughtfully handled. The pizzas were good, and the crust itself clearly showed proper firing with the dark leopard spotting you want to see in a Neapolitan oven. I understand authentic Neapolitan pizza is meant to be soft and delicate, but these leaned wetter in the center than I personally prefer. We ended up eating both pizzas entirely with a knife and fork. For me, there is a difference between intentional softness and losing a bit of structural balance. One detail that stood out to me was that after the appetizer course, our plates were not refreshed before the pizzas arrived. Some may see that as minor, but in restaurants positioning themselves as elevated dining experiences, those transitions matter. Fresh plates, table resets, and pacing are all part of hospitality and help communicate attentiveness and care throughout the meal. What I value most in restaurants is not trendiness or hype, but whether you can feel the chef’s stewardship in the experience not just on the plate, but in the hospitality, pacing, and attention to detail throughout the evening. I look for signs that the kitchen and floor genuinely care about what they are presenting to guests.

Braza Brava clearly cares about ingredients and authenticity, and there is sincerity here. I just left feeling that the experience lacked some of the refinement, balance, and attentiveness that elevate a meal from good to memorable.

Our party really enjoyed our dining experience. Loved the atmosphere, appetizers and entrees. We ordered 2 desserts, the cheesecake was good but I wouldn't recommend the tiramisu. Everything else was great!

Now don’t get me wrong, I went there yesterday night, the food was really good and place was really nice, but the service?

Eh! Nothing to write home about. Food is fair and beet salad wasn’t what I expected with three slices of beets with a bunch of arugula and basalmic vinegar.

We stumbled upon this place on our way to another restaurant and decided to try it, so glad we did!
The service was exceptional, and our server Gary was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting.
We all ordered something different. I had the sausage penne (without olives), one friend had the ravioli, and another had the salad and pepperoni pizza and everything was amazing. And the focaccia? Incredible!!!
This is hands down the most authentic Italian food I’ve had in the San Antonio area.

We went to this restaurant for my daughter’s birthday, never been before. The food and drinks were very good. I’d agree with previous reviews about the service being slow. The server wasn’t bad and was very accommodating but very slow to come to the table. It’s a very small business but overall the experience was good and we’d go back.

Braza Brava is straight 🔥. We went for authentic Neapolitan pizza and they  were perfectly cooked and with amazing gloves. What a great vibe, great Italian wines, all around killer experience.

Gary was top-tier — attentive, professional, and made us feel like VIPs. Service like that takes it to another level.

Had a very disappointing experience on Valentine’s Day. The service was pretty bad. Maybe they were short or something. They didn’t have enough Parmesan cheese. I don’t mean the fresh Parmesan… I mean the kind in a shaker. The bread was mediocre and you had an olive oil dispenser but no cracked pepper.
The dinners were Meh. We had the eggplant Parmesan & Chicken Fettuccine.
The salad was just okay. The bell pepper appetizer was bland.
The atmosphere is very quaint & the pianist was wonderful.
We won’t be back though. And we were so excited to try it.
