I will say, I was a bit apprehensive about spending $40 on a pie for my wife's birthday.

1. Not a huge fan of banana cream pie

2. It's a pie....

BUT, this was thee best pie I have EVER had. The whole crust is like a sugar cookie and the filling wasn't just some banana floof like pudding or something.

If you have never tried anything from Buttermilk Sky I'd HIGHLY recommend!

Maybe our expectations were too high? We bought a stack of pies in the end. Some were good & some not.
Whenever we go to a new place we tell the employee “This is our first time here” usually they are a little nicer & give us a rundown of what they offer. Not this time. I stopped by this place after eating next door at Cheba hut. Got two small pies and let me tell you the peanut butter creams is absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try the key lime!
