My family has been going here for years. It's our go-to restaurant on the river. Got my husband to SA to finally try it and he said it was his favorite tex-mex ever. The charro beans do not disappoint. He's making sure we go again before we leave.
Jonathan was THE BEST server. He made this whole experience amazing. 5 stars for his awesome recommendations to help ensure I had an awesome vegetarian experience - making special recommendations for off-the-menu options, which was much appreciated.
I ordered spicy beef empanadas appetizer (qty: 3.) They were not good. I didn't finish the one I tried. It had a bit of filler (onion, tomato, something else) and was thick crusted that overwhelmed the dish. Disappointing. I told the waitress, I'd like my check, and I'm not going to eat that. I tipped 18% because it wasn't her fault the food was terrible.
