I ❤️ capital one cafe so much. Rogelio is super nice and the barista SLOAN IS SO SWEEETTT (give them a raise). Litterally am here everyday and everyone is so amazing and drinks are super good too…my best choice was getting a capital one card :)

0 stars. I asked for a drink that’s less milky and I was recommended a skakerato. I get my drink with almost melted ice and a lot of milk. I asked to please have it remade and the barista said no. That the recipe for the lattes is the same as the shakerato. Didn’t want to argue so I asked her to please make it again with more ice and less milk and she said no.
Everyone else was polite except that barista today Sunday Aug 24,2025 at 1:50 pm. I think her name was sami.

This Capital One Cafe always exceeds expectations! Tasty coffee, tea, and pastries, and such friendly and inviting staff, especially Maria, Aya & Lisset - they're very accommodating and give our dog lots of pets which he loves. We're happy to be regulars here!

This male cashier (didn’t get his name) was borderline rude. When ordering he proceeded to correct me in a condescending way and then got it wrong anyways. Never had this problem in any other place in my trip to SAT. Overall good experience but he was just bad mannered.

IF YOU ARE LACTOSE INTOLERANT DO NOT GO HERE. I ordered a drink with oat milk to avoid lactose, and there was no label on the drink which definitely had whole milk as I’ve been on the toilet for 3+ hours. Never again.

I have been banking with Capital One for years and it is great. I enjoy the many ATMs it partners with so there does not have to be many branches. It is mainly app based. The Cafe has great service agents. However, the barista did not seem to care much. Not a place for vegetarians to have anything to eat really. My friend that came with me to make a transaction did have something to eat and they said it was decent. I will just stick with going and making transactions then stopping to grab something to snack on.

⭐☆☆☆☆ | Disappointed and Won’t Return

I visited the Capital One Café expecting a calm and professional environment, which it definitely delivers — the atmosphere is quiet and good for working or meeting up. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for me.

The service was just... there. Not rude, but definitely not warm or engaging. I ordered a simple cup of coffee with cream and received what was possibly the most bitter and unpleasant coffee I’ve ever tasted. I took two sips and had to throw it away. For nearly $6, that’s pretty disappointing.

I had asked for cream, and they barely added a trickle — which didn’t help the taste at all. No effort to ask if it was okay or offer a fix. For a place charging premium prices, they should at least make a drink worth finishing.

I won’t be coming back. There are way better options out there for coffee, service, and value.

This vast a very nice experience I had a great time with staff and I even got a free wallet I would highly recommend if your in the area to stop and give it a check it was a 10/10 must try agin.
