Fantastic food!!Such a shame they close after Dec 31 ?Hopefully when they open their new restaurant they will keep their awesome carnitas on the menu!!

Absolutely fantastic food, I always get more than 1 lb because we know later on we're going to eat it. Absolutely get the guacamole. It is worth every penny. They are closing at the end of the month which is a few days from now and is so depressing because they had the best carnitas I've ever had. You will be missed! So if you get a chance before the end of the year to go and visit, highly recommend highly highly recommend!

Such fantastic carnitas! We bought 2 lbs to split between 8 people, and we only need to add 6 additional corn tortillas because there was so much meat.Almost everything was gluten free! (Carnitas, corn tortillas, and beans were GF, for sure)They're closing down sometime between Dec 27-31. The waitress said that Chef Alex will be reopening next year with a different menu. I recommended they denote what menu items are GF, and/or mention it on their website.I look forward to their reopening!!!

Delicious carnitas: tender and moist, not dry, greasy, or salty. The beans were delicious. Unfortunately, they'll be closing at the end of the month. Hopefully they'll open again at a different location. I'm glad to have tried their carnitas. Wishing y'all luck on future endeavors.

Been here before the shut down. Came back and had some of the worst carnitas I've had in this city. Dry, dry, dry and stringy. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day.

Super yummy carnitas for a great deal! $14 for a 1/2 lb with tortillas!

Food is really good. Delicious carnitas tacos. Will be making that trip back.

Went in and they hadn’t opened yet. Arrived here 20 minutes early and was told to come back. Door was open so I walked right in. The carnitas a super good. I’m not sure about the time to open.

My favorite local spot. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is great! And most of the menu is gluten free, which is a plus for me! Glad it is cause it one of the few places I can still enjoy....and do!

Great carnitas...Owner doing his thing .. Greeting, taking orders, serving & cashiering... He didn't skip a beat. ..Nice patio area when it cools down a bit.Only down side is limited parking..

Although unassuming, this place is fantastic. Carnitas are supreme, but don’t skip the torta especial or fish tacos. I could also chug their salsas by the gallon.

The carnitas are not the typical that you would expect, cooked Michoacana style. It did not have any parts that were supposed to be crunchy from being cooked in the fats. It wasn't super moist or flavorful on its own. You need to add the sides that come with it to add flavor. The corn tortillas were not homemade. They were packaged. The seating outside had little furry insects that were crawling on the umbrellas, and I was fearful that they would fall on my food. There wasn't any sign or indication that there was seating available inside the building next door. I mentioned to the cook that it was our first time visiting, so it would have been helpful if he had mentioned where we could sit (outdoors or indoors). I would not be returning to this place as it did not live up to the Reviews I had previously read.

The food was delicious and definitely had a lot of flavor. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The only downfalls are the very limited parking and the people roaming in the area.
