The food was good but the restaurant area near the back was very warm. It made our visit pretty uncomfortable.
Parking: The parking area behind the restaurant needs better lighting. I didn't feel safe parking my car behind the restaurant.

The wait staff was great. The food not so much. The minestrone soup was awful, everything in it was dissolved and lukewarm. The chicken Marsala that reviews described as delicious, was disappointing. However, the salmon was delicious. The calamari was cold and well, I’ve had better. The tea and lemon aide was delicious. I paid in cash gave her 165.00 and the waitress didn’t return with my receipt. Food cost 146.00 total. I asked another employee for my receipt so she called the waitress from the back and she printed out the receipt. (Sus)

Dined during Valentine’s Day. My wife wanted to come here for a certain deal that was apparently not available during Valentine’s Day. Did the $65 for two deal since they’re $45 for two wasn’t available. This was a four course meal and for some reason, the dishes were coming out in the wrong order got one of our appetizers after receiving our entrée and my mother-in-law who was dinning with us, received her appetizer after she received her soup. I ordered a sirloin steak and they did not cook it correctly for me so I had to send it back. In addition they gave me a different side than I originally ordered so I had to get that fixed as well. They even forgot to include some items that were advertised on the appetizer which I had to request to get remade as well. Maybe it was chaos from Valentine’s Day but as a customer, I didn’t feel well taken care of this whole experience took over three hours to get all of the food we ordered which was longer than I was originally planning. For your money I think you can get a better value and experience elsewhere. Hopefully other customers have a better experience than myself.

We stopped by for dinner tonight at the tail end of the rush. We were seated quickly on the patio, and while we were told we would have a 15 minute wait for a server, Kate was at our table in 5 minutes or less. Her personality is stellar, her knowledge of the menu was impeccable, and her service was incredible. As a fellow service industry professional, it was so refreshing to get amazing service from another seasoned service rockstar. We are from out of town, but next time we are in San Antonio we will be back to pay Kate a visit! Thank you again for a lovely experience!
One of my favorite Italian places in town. I've been coming here for years and the food is consistently excellent. The wait staff is really solid, some are better than others and have been there for a long time. Overall excellent experience. Highly recommended!

I don't do reviews much! But Carabas in San Antonio deserves it big time! This place is always amazing. The food is top shelf The serving sizes is always perfect. My wife and I have loved this place for over 20 years!!! Well done!
An absolute perfect evening! Kylie was our server and she set the standard for service. We were seated immediately and the atmosphere was amazing. We were 100% satisfied with everything we experienced. We couldn’t have had a more perfect experience. My wife and I will return and we highly recommend this fine dinning. Well done to everyone that works there because they are amazing.
Parking: Virtually unlimited. It is busy but plenty of spots to include handicapped and take-out spots.
Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming to all.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with wide isles.

What an abundant event. The personalized name card was a special touch. My husband and I will definitely return for more date nights.
