I went as part of a group of 5, we all ordered something different and ate everything family style. We had the shrimp, it was excellent! The chicken was very good. We also had the wagyu fajitas, the venison and duck as well as the brisket - all of those were good but not stand outs in any way. We took our college freshman granddaughter and her good friend for brunch / lunch on a Saturday. Food and service were both exceptional. Carriqui was our granddaughter's recommendation as her dad had taken her there several weeks before and it was close to Trinity University. We are glad she chose it. We will certainly return on another trip to San Antonio.
The place is beautiful and the service is great and drinks were good.
However I rate a 3 solely based on the food. We spent about 180 for my boyfriend and I and it just didn’t hit the mark for the prices and quality. The catch of the day was a redfish it was very very salty and kind of dry. We also ordered the chorizo potatoes. The potatoes didn’t taste like chorizo it just tasted like potatoes in a bbq sauce.
