I’m not really sure who this restaurant is for… on Spring break, there are kids everywhere. The menu is small & serves “bar food”, so it is the typical hotel-food cooked in a convention oven…. No “chef” needed. Here’s where it went sideways - although the staff was very friendly, they were not equipped for the crowd. Our kid’s pizza & adult nachos took 2 hours!!! We kept inquiring… waitress kept saying 10 more minutes over & over… we should not of had to ask for manager, they lost our order multiple times so they should have realized the mistake. FINALLY it was taken care of & we were not charged. This is my 2nd bad experience here…. Just go to the bar and do NOT eat here - they’re not built to be a “real” restaurant.

I really wanted to like this place as the food was decent but I overheard an employee interaction that left me speechless. Our server Katy was absolutely wonderful but there was an employee who started loudly voicing his homophobic opinions and my family and I were absolutely appalled. Our server handled it well but this guy Eric STINKS and I was disgusted. It was extremely uncomfortable to hear him voice these opinions in the middle of the restaurant while my family and I were just trying to enjoy our meal. It’s extremely unprofessional and he should be fired. My family and I will not be going back to this place again.

Stayed at the Hyatt for a conference and made it to Charlie's. Since we're in Texas, had to try something with brisket. Behold, the Texas Ruben...not your everyday sandwich, mind you. This gem was Texas sized with big tender pieces of smoked brisket, topped with swiss cheese, thousand Island and sauerkraut all on marble rye. Accompanied with a decent portion of hot, crispy, seasoned fries, this was more than a meal. This take on the Ruben is one for the ages. If you're looking a good size snack, try the pretzels. Not covered in salt but prepared more like and everything bagel. 2 good sized, soft pretzels with hot beer cheese and mustard. Yummy...had twice in 3 days...that good!

Stayed at the Hyatt for a conference and had a Fun experience at Charlie's Long Bar. Staff are friendly and drinks/food were spot on. Add friendly crowds makes a great impression for visitors.

Cool history with this bar, it is the longest bar in Texas. A pool table, shuffle board, electronic dart boards, pinball, a few shooting games all awaits with many TVs for sports. It’s a little dark, so reading the menu was a little difficult but nothing the flashlight on your phone can’t fix. For a Monday evening, it was pretty busy. They were out of a few things on tap, the wine list is weak, but the list of liquor choices is long. The food was mixed. I had a stuffed baked potato that was great, pulled pork option with BBQ sauce, and he had a Ruben that was terrible, dry, looked thrown together, only ate about 1/4 of it, the waitress Katie was great! She was hustling, trying to get everyone taken care of while her teammate was not. I felt bad for her trying to get all the tables handled while her work mate was disappearing somewhere. I give it a 4 star because the food was mixed, the bar service was very slow, this is not the fault of the server as she just puts in the orders and waits for him to decide to make it. We will try this again before leaving, hoping for better food for all.

The service was super slow, and We had to wait for each thing for very long, the only thing we got fast was our check and picked up right after. we had so many dirty dishes on our small table and every time our server stopped by we thought she would remove at least some but she was always in rush. She was a wonderful friendly person, and she was running that entire area by herself so it was not her fault. Food, just average bar food.

Very nice, huge family-friendly bar & restaurant inside the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa. The bartenders and waitstaff are super friendly and attentive. Our drinks were perfect and reasonably priced, especially for a resort. There are also games like darts and a pool table, and they were installing some game machines, so it must be even more fun now.

Great place for that intimate moment! ...your date will LOVE IT!

We've been coming here for years as owners in the sister property Wild Oak Ranch. The menu has not changed in at least 12 years- needs an update. Portions are small with Austin prices. Drinks: expensive for the effort the bartenders put into making them. Often over run with children, treating the pool table like trash. Overall I hope for improvement or we'll go elsewhere.
