Church's Texas Chicken

Everytime i go they come up with the same Bs that they never have chicken and always forget gravy with a family meal of tenders

They act like there life sucks when they taking your order gave me chicken jerky (tenders) all dried up & hard.
This is Close to my place but go out of my way to order from MARBACH location its always Fresh and worth it They Always answer there Phone and add condiments in my uber order when i call and ask .

If I can give them a zero star I would. Chicken looks like it's been sitting there all day 😔 chicken overcooked hardly any meat nothing but crumbs!

I ordered online for delivery. My order was incomplete. The chicken was terrible and the poppers tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. I really didn’t want this location because it’s been bad in the past, but I was hoping they got better. They did not. I would not recommend this location, ever. The only thing good was the delivery.

I stopped by DU on my way home from work cuz I have a young lady at home hungrily waiting to be fed. It was the location at 5 palms n old pearsall.
They are typically nice, I’ve never had a single issue at this location.
However today, I was impressed by the attention.
As soon as I pulled up to the speaker, I was immediately greeted and he added, something like, I will be right back with you in just a second … not quoting but basically I set the expectation that he was a bit tight up n will take my order asap. He sounded super genuine, it sounded different to the usual. Once he came back to me, he nicely n confidently expressed my specific request may take several minutes n have additional options in case I needed to avoid the wait time. Indeed, it was helpful because like I said at beginning, there’s a person at home waiting to be fed.
Once I pulled up yo the window, he took payment n immediately handed my order with no wait time all. Then he still offered if I wanted condiments/sauces n he was , again genuine, gave eye contact like he meant the question lol.wow!
Now since he handed my food right away, in the back of my mind, I figured the food will probably be cold, the mash n the chicken had proly be sitting under the light for a while BUT NOOOO!!! Oh my goodness the mas potatoes was hot n delish!! The chicken was hot , juicy n crispy JUST LIKE WHEN YOU SEE COMMERCIAL ON TV N YOU IMAGINE THE PERFECT CHURCHS CHICKEN COMBO. Yes! No joke, this food was amazing!! So , thank you, thank you to this team for being so caring with their job. Thank you to the young man with curly hair who set the stage since the very beginning! You all made a beautiful difference in my day which means a lot to this stranger :)
What goes around comes around n I surely wish you guys goood, good days like you made my day.
I should’ve up loaded a pic of the food but once we started eating it we couldn’t stop eating but everyone should stop by n find out what I mean. Lol!

If I could give 0 stars I would. They're under staffed and way too busy. Got my order wrong twice cause they're trying to do too much. It had already taken me over an hour to get my food so Ididn't want to go back a third time. Never again would I go here

How is this place still in business? I should've read the reviews before I went. They were out of the 3 separate items I tried to order. Settled for ordering 3 tenders SPICY, which only 1 was spicy. Side was mashed potatoes and gravy. Zero gravy and they forgot my dipping sauce. Also tried to short me a dollar of my change. Absolutely unreal.

It was just bad.. I got to the drive thru which had 3 people waiting already.. and when I got to the menu to order they told me it's a 45 min wait.. this is also a hour before they close.. I have to wait? Cool. Tell them I have the app.. they said.. I don't know how to do that. I said we'll I'll pull up to the window and I'll talk to the manager.. get to the window. Manager says he new. And doesn't know what he is doing with the app. Scans my barcode. Just gives me a two piece and the pieces look like they been sitting out for hours... I don't want free stuff. I don't want to complain.. I'll wait for 45 mins.. but what is all this? It's wild! Everyone needs training here. I'll never come here again...

Food is good but the customer service is horrible at this location. If they forget something and you call they want you to bring them the recipt back or either they hang up the phone when you call to let them know what is missing or if you ask for a manager. I contacted corporate last week because I had an issue with my order and spoke with a guy named Brandon who told me that someone would be reaching out to me because I wanted a refund and was told that I couldn't get one. I still YET have to hear from someone in corporate. 🤬

!!! WARNING DO NOT SHOP THIS LOCATION!!!

This location should be condemned by the Health Inspector and shut down. It looks gross from the outside and even worse from the inside. The management of this establishment should just be fired and not ever allowed to work in the food industry, period. They do not ever have food ready, will not have all of basic products available (chicken, mash potatoes, macaroni, etc.). If, you ask for your money back, they will tell you that they can not do it there, and that you need to contact the corporate office. I almost called 911 on them.

I went in for food for my family and some friends . manager said it would take 8 more minutes till chicken would be fresh.20 minutes later I walked up to counter and they said it would be another 5 minutes because they were giving out chicken to drive through so I had a longer wait all together 30 minutes with no free drinks for the wait or nothing

I went through the drive thru. The chicken wraps were really good. The Mac and cheese was not with nearly $4 dollars for a half of a small container. Waited 15 to 20 minutes for my order. The excuse was I’m sorry the truck arrived late, I was just getting ready to send it out. She was still putting my box together. She had the man’s waiting behind me ready to go on the counter. How do I add a photo of the half cup of Mac and cheese. lol I should have known better. I have never had good service at this location. Usually when I go they tell me there is a 15 to 20 minute wait on the chicken. Which at that b time I say never mind because I know it won’t be cooked properly. (Still raw)
